Beautiful, Centrally Located, Design District Apartment by Lucky Savannah

This two bedroom, two bath apartment is centrally located on Whitaker Street. No matter which direction you set out in the morning, you’ll be just blocks away from all that Savannah has to offer.

When you open the front door, you're immediately greeted by a large and comfortable living area. You shouldn’t need a vacation from your vacation, so don’t feel bad about spending an evening in, curled up on this comfortable couch watching a show (or two!). Whether you’re enjoying coffee and breakfast at the kitchen counter breakfast bar, or dinner at the cozy dining table, the Eleanor has plenty of room for quality family time. At the end of the hall you’ll find a full bath and a Queen bed in the first bedroom. The Primary Suite has a king bed and renovated full bath.

When you’re ready to start your day, just cross the street to tour St. John’s Episcopal Church, known for its melodious chimes and magnificent stained glass windows. In 1942, St. John’s the Green-Meldrim House, one of Savannah’s finest examples of Gothic Revival architecture. During the Civil War, General Sherman occupied the Green-Meldrim House and penned his famous telegram to President Lincoln, presenting the city of Savannah as a Christmas present.

Kitchen supplies were pretty skimpy but didn't present a big problem. Pretty much walked everywhere we went so nice location. Instructions for the TV would be helpful.

Had a little trouble with the front gate at first but quickly overcame that obstacle. The apartment is lovely, incredibly clean and stocked very well. The location was absolutely perfect! Loved that it had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms but most of all loved that it had an amazing coffee shop across the street. LolAlso, the few times that I talked to the property managers…they were very friendly and helpful!

Charming, great location

We were charmed by this historic property right from the front iron gate. It was very comfortable for a mother / daughter weekend. We were far enough from the main touristy center for peace and quiet, but close enough to easily walk there. This place had everything we needed!

Girls Trip

This was the perfect property for our girls trip… close to everywhere you want to be in Downtown Savannah, comfortable furniture for relaxing with a glass of wine and a great kitchen/dining area when you want to stay in for a meal. Parking is on the street but not as cumbersome as I thought it was going to be.
