Fos Villa is a design-forward luxury residence created by the architect and owner Christini Polatou. Celebrated for its consistently exceptional guest experience, the villa offers sweeping sea and Chania city views, refined multi-level interiors, and serene outdoor living. Its fully upgraded, state-of-the-art heated pool ensures year-round comfort, while curated details, high-end amenities, and thoughtful architecture create privacy, elegance, and a uniquely memorable stay of true distinction.

Fos Villa is situated at the entrance of Galatas village, offering stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, the islet of Agioi Theodoroi, and the city of Chania. The house combines refined architecture with a serene minimalist aesthetic, creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere throughout.

Spread across four levels and 190m², the villa features spacious living and dining areas, five beautifully appointed bedrooms, three bathrooms and one WC. The interiors balance modern comfort with design-forward simplicity, highlighted by clean Greek whites, natural wood accents, curated artwork, and custom lighting. Thoughtful furniture pieces and a well-equipped kitchenette complement the villa’s smart use of space, while the upper-level bedrooms offer impressive sea and coastline views. A wonderful villa, with fantastic hosts who are extremely helpful.The villa is ideally located and right next to the bus stop in to town, which takes about 20 mins and runs every hour.The villa has everything you need and is very well appointed and designed.We had a great stay and would highly recommend this villa.Pool is a lovely size and outdoor space is well kept, with beds, towels and a BBQ.The villa has good a/c and nicely furnished with attention to detail.Thank you for a great stay

We found everything about this property and host fantastic! Communication was great prior to stay, during check-in and the entire stay. House was extremely clean and came with many extras. The design of the house incorporates the pool and scenery beautifully! The location is in a local neighborhood, but you can walk to restaurants and coffee shops. The host was utterly fantastic and even helped with an unrelated issue elsewhere on our trip. I recommend highly for families or couples traveling together.

Charming hosts and villa

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Villa Fos. The hosts were wonderful, warm and charming. The villa itself is a beautiful architect designed property with heated swimming pool. Every detail in the property has been well thought out and includes beautiful furniture. Our hosts provided a very generous welcome package and also delightful home baked local Greek treats. Amazing place!!

This was such a special place! Our family of 2 adults and 3 children had plenty of room and the pool was incredible especially in the heat. The location was great, close to beaches Chania, and great local grocery store and Tavernas. Our hosts were outstanding and even had some basic groceries for us like fruit and milk when we arrived. They also gave us fresh Crete cheese and spinach pies on our arrival. Thank you so much for a great stay! We will be back

A brilliant villa - we loved our stay

I can simply echo many of the other comments made by others. The villa has been brilliantly designed - by Christini and is very well equiped, modern and clean. The pool is heated, so it was fine to swim in, when we went in April. Just round the corner is a lovely taverna, and there are lots of other restaurants and supermarkets just a few minutes drive away, with Chania itself about a 10-15 minute drive. And it was the best food welcome food basket we've ever received! Thanks very much for a great stay, we'd love to come again.

Fantastic property - great design.

The property is very nice. The layout of the house is great and provides a ton of space. It easily handles multiple families/couples. Christini and Kostas are great hosts and we loved the cretan pies they made for us as they make a perfect breakfast. The house has everything you need to relax and to cook or grill. The pool was the perfect temperature and we made great use of it. Very easy to go into old town Chania or to get to a grocery store. The taverna around the corner is good and convenient and we recommend the butcher a short walk away. Everything you need for a great vacation.

Wonderful week in stunning villa in fabulous location

We are 2 families who go on a villa holiday every year and this villa ticked all the boxes. The villa is a beautiful design with great attention to detail with a lovely swimming pool surrounded by lush flowers and plants. Kostas and Christini are wonderful hosts and the welcome spinach pies were delicious which we then washed down with the welcome wine. They also sent us a helpful email with lots of recommendations and suggested excursions. The villa is in a superb location next to Elia taverna and a 5 min walk up into the village where there is a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery and 2 more tavernas or a 20 minute walk down to the beach with more bars and restaurants. Only 20 minute drive into stunning Chania or a bus or taxi. We had the most wonderful week :-)

Wonderful stay

Our family of six adults (three couples) spent a glorious week at Fos Villa. The house is beautifully designed and furnished, and provided ample space for the six of us. The hosts live next door, which was great when we needed something but not at all intrusive. The outdoor space is just as lovely as the interior. We really loved the location too. A short car ride to Chania but we felt like we were out in the country--very peaceful. There is a wonderful taverna literally around the corner with wonderful Cretan food and very genial hosts. I think we ate there three times! There is also a mini-market a few minutes walk from the villa where you can pick up some groceries. We have stayed at many vacation rentals but this might be our favorite--highly recommended.

Best summer

This house is the perfect summer getaway with Kostas and Christini being superb hosts. They supplied delicious feta spinach pies on arrival, also honey and a bottle of wine. The house is stocked with all essentials - spices, olive oil, dish washing tablets, laundry liquid and plenty of loo roll. Pool towels are also supplied. Kostas brought us fresh oranges and grapes from his brothers farm during the week which were delicious. We didn’t hire a car, the bus at the bottom of the road (2 min walk) took us to central Chania 20 mins away. Kostas kindly took us to the supermarket and to the beach one day. A lovely open plan ground floor with huge doors opening onto the garden/pool area with comfy pool lounges to sit and drink some rose wine and read the latest summer blockbuster. We enjoyed our stay here and were very sad to leave. Thank you Kostas and Christini

Wonderful villa

Just come back after a week at Fos Villa, there were 10 of us altogether. The villa is on several floors and was ideal for our family. The top floor was great for my daughter and grandchildren. The basement floor is good for a couple to give them a little more privacy. There are bathrooms on all floors and the facilities were brilliant with everything we would need. The hosts were great and could not do enough for us. They left us some basic food to start the week, bread jam etc which was unexpected but we were grateful for, and gave us a lovely cake too. The location is quiet, there is a taverna next door, for the wider experience there is a beach with more shops and restaurants about a 20 min walk down the hill. The only drawback being having to walk back up the very steep hill. If you have any health issues it could be a problem. A taxi into Chania cost 20 euros so not cheap but well worth a visit to the Old Town area, In summary we loved our visit, would we come back ? Possibly. Would we recommend? Definitely!

FOS VILLA A REAL PIECE OF ART

Fos Villa is a real piece of art with a high level of sophisticate and contemporary desing. With one word I would say ''perfection'' as I tried to find an imperfection but I could not. Αs I was later informed, all the design, the supervision of the construction and the decoration of this brand new villa was made by the host/owner and architect, Christini. Τhe carefully designed gardens are superb with excellent plant choices that fit perfectly with the environment and give a sense of harmony. The villa is full of amenities, we truly enjoyed the heated pool early March, a real luxury for us, and the same time we enjoyed the wonderful warm temperature of the interior home that has underfloor heated system!!!! Moreover the villa was extremelly clean, totaly spotless in every space and point. Τhe area around the villa (Galatas & Daratso) is also very beautiful and quiet. Close to the city (Chania) center, by car or bus you do not need more than 10 minutes, and at the same time very close to the beautiful sandy beaches of Kalamaki, Agioi Apostoloi & Glaros which are about 1 kilometer from the villa, 10 minutes walk. It is also very easy to reach the National Road through which you can explore the whole Crete. In conclusion, the best five stars hotels have to envy many of this real amazing holiday hire as well as the high level of service offered by the excellent hosts Kostas & Christini. They gave us great recommendations and all the necessary information about Chania and Crete and they were every moment available to assist us. It was a unique expirience for us and we thank Kostas & Christina so much for that. We lived an unforgetable stay, much more of our expectations and we will remember that full for ever.

Séjour magnifique!

Notre famille a séjourné 6 nuits à la résidence. Kostas & Christini sont des hôtes extraordinaires! Ils nous ont chaleureusement accueilli et ont formulé des conseils judicieux sur les activités et les restaurants à visiter. La propriété est bien située, soit 12 min du vieux Chania, 5 min d'un gym familial neuf, et environ 1 à 1,5 heures des attraits majeurs tels lagon Balos et l'une des plus belles plages de la Grèce, Elafonissi. Nous avons adoré dîner dans deux tavernes typiques où peu de touristes y sont, le tout à 1 min et 15 min de marche de la villa. Kostas nous a amené un matin une pâtisserie grec typique et a répondu rapidement à toutes nos questions! La propriété est 5 étoiles pour l'ensemble.

Holiday Paradise

A beautiful property with everything you could want or need for a relaxing holiday. There is a village with shop & cafe within walking distance & a taverna next door which serves massive portions of delicious food. The property is very clean; the owners are very friendly. Thoroughly recommended!

Gorgeous location and land lords!

This was one of the best locations we ever were. Kostas and Christini did all to make us feel comfortable - thank you two a lot for all the small and bigger things you did for us! The location is a modern villa with four floors and everything you need for relaxing holidays. From washing machine and dryer, BBQ to the heatened pool. Additionally, it was prepared with a lot ofthoughful small details. All of us were impressed by both, the villa and the landlords. From the villa it´s a 15 minutes walk to the beach, so we went a few times to the beach for a sundowner or to have our breakfast there. Next to the villa is also a really good small tavern with delicious authentic greek food, where we ate a few times. Small greek supermarkets are within short walking distance and a bigger one by 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. We definitely recommend this location if you want to make holidays in Chania!

A welcoming oasis

Thank you, Kostas and Christini, for a rejuvenating stay in Villa Fos! Your hospitality (and your mother's cooking!) made us feel very welcome, adding a sense of homeliness to the stylish surroundings of your villa. The villa itself -- situated in the sleepy outskirts of Chania beside the local football pitch and with a view of the sea -- has a contemporary vibe to it, with clean lines and quality materials creating a space that is relaxing yet upbeat. We felt very much at home whatever we were doing, from sun-bathing on the grass or messing about in the pool, to slipping off in search of a quiet corner, or coming together for dinner and drinks on the terrace in the evening. Chania is about a 15 minute drive away (taxis are very reasonable) and there are plenty of amenities within walking distance (10-20mins), including a supermarket, pharmacy and the like. The coast is about a 15 minute stroll down the hill: a sandy bay dotted with rentable sun loungers, a few bars and restaurants, which maintains a local feeling. The water at the time of our visit was a balmy 26 degrees and an excellent place to take a dip just as the sun was going down, followed by a cocktail on the beach and a stroll back up the hill for dinner at the local taverna.
