About Vacasa, OR - Central Oregon Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Love this home and location!

 • 5 of 5

The recent upgrades to the 2 main bedrooms are wonderful! Very comfortable beds. Love being so close to the village and SHARC, yet feels secluded. We love biking and walking and soaking in the hot tub. We will stay here again!

Not fit for large group

 • 1 of 5

After spending many days at other VRBO, Home Away and now Vacasa houses, I have to say I was very surprised on this last one at 5 Muskrat Lane in Sunriver. It was not up to the previous houses. When we selected this house, it was with the expectation that we would we would have my wife & I and along with our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren. As it turned out, it was just my wife & I. This made this house bearable.

The living area was way too small to accommodate 4 adults with a 3 year old and a 5 year old. This living area was way too crowded. Also, seating in this area would have been crowded. On top of that, the couch and love seat were the most uncomfortable furniture we have ever sat in. Then, to add insult to injury, many of the slats on the vertical blinds on the sliding door were missing. So, we had no privacy after dark and our lights were on. Also, this sliding door was very sticky. It was difficult to open and close.

Next, we were anticipating using the grill while we were there. First, when I opened it, I was very disappointed in how dirty it was. Then after cleaning it, I found that the fuel was out. The last person to use this, had left the valve open.

As many houses built at about the time this house was built, the lighting was limited. The living area and kitchen area was very dimly lit. To compound this problem, the light under the microwave, over the stove, did not work.

Finally, while they had TVs in each bedroom, the one in the big bedroom was not connected to the cable. Instead, it was connected to Netflix. This meant that I was unable to watch sports and local news in the bedroom.
Sept 2017 Family Vacation

 • 4 of 5

This is our 3rd time staying at this house. The location is fantastic. Short walk to both the SHARC and the Village. Located right on a bike trail for easy access. It was also nice the house is on a generally flat circle road so the kids could ride their bikes/scooters (great for our younger two). The house has some nice upgrades since our last stay 2 years ago: new TV in family room, new TV in master, and TVs added to the other two guest rooms. Only complaint is the master king bed. Both my wife and I have gotten sore backs with each stay. The hot tub helps to loosen up them up! We love the location and house overall. Replacing the master mattress would make it perfect.
