Love the Santa Fe style? Then Live it!

Casas de Guadalupe is a small enclave of lovingly restored historic adobe casitas. 12 casitas, located just off the plaza. One and two bedroom units, each with a unique floor plan.

This two story casita features the largest living area at Casa de Guadalupe. The kitchen is spacious, making this the ideal casita for larger families or groups. The living area features a breakfast bar that spills into the den area where guests can gather to enjoy good company and a nice meal. The sofa, also opens up into a queen size bed. The upstair bedroom, with a queen bed, has a private balcony where you can relax and enjoy a quiet evening and after a busy day in Santa Fe! There is a second bedroom upstairs, also with a queen bed, and full bathroom with tub/shower. This vacation rental casita has all the authentic touches -- a kiva fireplace, saltillo tile, and hardwood floors. But it has also been skillfully updated to provide you with all the modern conveniences, including cable tv, laundry facilities, a full kitchen, air conditioning and complimentary high speed internet access. With complimentary parking, you can park your car and walk to the plaza in minutes or to the brand new Railyard. You’re already living in Santa Fe style!

Casas de Guadalupe is a private compound of twelve luxury casitas. We can comfortably accommodate a honeymoon couple or a family reunion! If this casita is booked, we may have another casita available! Unfortunately, our calendar does not sink with VRBO so we have to manually update it. Don't hesitate to write and ask what we have available. We may be able to make some room for you and your guests! For more information, please see our website www.santa fe-vacationrentals.com

About Mary Ann Kaye

Hi! My name is Mary Ann and I'm the property manager for Casas de Guadalupe. My background was based on 20 years’ experience in the hotel industry in Albuquerque. My brother in law, Doug and two of his friends purchased these properties, after Doug had lived on site. When I came out to Santa Fe to take a look at these casitas, I fell in love with them. 10 darling vacation rentals, all within the same complex, just off the plaza...what sales person could resist!! Come and experience the friendly people, the fantastic restaurants, museums and shops, and best of all the outdoor activities in and around Santa Fe!

Mary Ann Kaye purchased this house in 2007

Why Mary Ann Kaye chose Santa Fe

Doug - I actually lived in these casitas in 2005. Having lived in New Mexico for most of my life I found the life style in Santa Fe so different and unique. I fell in love with the city, the area and culture immediately! When I was given the opportunity to purchase these properties I jumped on it!

What makes this house unique

This property is located just off of Guadalupe which is one of the main streets that borders the Plaza. Once you cross Guadalupe, you will see lots of shops, restaurants and museums. Park is a very quiet street just off the beaten path. You can enjoy a day at the plaza, walk back to the casita and enjoy a quiet night on the patio. Or take a little walk to any of the nearby restaurants in the area. If you don’t feel like eating out, there are several grocery stores in the area. The kitchen is fully equipped making it easy to whip up a delicious meal of your very own!

Guestbook comments from the owner

Charming and cozy house with plenty of room

  • 5 of 5

Mary Ann was very helpful and welcoming. "Tony's Place" was a wonderful house with charming artwork and decor. Fantastic location with delicious restaurants, beautiful galleries and the historic Plaza within easy walking distance.

Owner's Response: It was so great to meet you the other night! I'm sorry for the confusion when you arrived! You caught me off guard! It was so nice to meet you and your family and I'm glad that you enjoyed Tony's place. It's one of our largest casitas and very well liked! I hope you will remember us when you travel this way again!

Cozy and convenient casita. Excellent location for walking to the Plaza and restaurants.

  • 4 of 5

The casita was cozy but with sufficient space for 5 adults. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the provided logs. The casita is conveniently located to all downtown area attractions and was a good space for relaxing. Mary Ann was a pleasure to work with.

Perfect location!

  • 4 of 5

There are multiple casitas on this property and it's not always easy to know which pictures and descriptions go with which casita. That said, we did figure it out and got the casita we expected, Casita H. We stayed there for 3 nights and should have booked it for longer! The casita was comfortable (good WiFi) and perfectly located 2 blocks from the Plaza - we walked everywhere. Of all the reasonably-priced rentals we researched, this was closest to the Plaza. We would certainly stay here again! And If you want a change from the great Mexican food you'll find everywhere in Santa Fe, try the terrific Chez Mamou.

Owner's Response: Paul thanks for taking time to write up a review! It was great to have you stay with us and hope that you will be able to stay again soon! I'm sure glad you enjoyed Casita H. We have 9 two bedroom casitas and each is different from the other. It's a little easier to see them all on our website, but we are so happy that you found us on VRBO! Thanks again!

Loved it.

Spacious for our group. The only thing we could have used were instructions for recycling our garbage. If we missed that I am so sorry. We had a pizza box and a few bottles we were not sure what to do with. Mary left a very useful book with tons of information for things to do. Much appreciated!!!

Clean and Convient

  • 5 of 5

Our casita was a perfect size for comfort for two writers. The two levels gave each of us privacy and quiet time. Everything needed to enjoy our stay at the casita was provided. The bonus was off street parking for our rental car. However, we were in walking distance to the Plaza. For the price it was 5 star.

Great location, comfortable space!

  • 5 of 5

We spent the weekend with a Casita F with our family of four (mom, dad and two daughters - 5 yrs & 6 wks). The home was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for all of us. We enjoyed the full kitchen and both outdoor spaces (upstairs and down). We didn't use the washer and dryer, but we were glad to have it just in case. We really loved that you could walk to restaurants and shops so easily - being so close to the plaza was great! We would definitely stay here again. The owner/ manager Mary Ann was very helpful and welcoming .

Owner's Response: Farrah, thanks again for staying with us at Casas de Guadalupe. The pleasure was all mine. I'm so glad that you and the family enjoyed your stay and we look forward to having you stay with us again. I have a total of 12 casitas and all of them are in that same location, but they are all very different. Maybe next time, we can put you in a different one, just for fun!! Thanks for making my job so much easier. It was great to work with you!
