Perfect

Perfect cottage in centre of Eyemouth and all amenities were right on the doorstep. Perfect host. Met Helen - an absolutely delightful lady who provided us with some delicious home baked goodies. Highly recommend - if we visit Eyemouth again will certainly rebook.

A well presented & equipped cottage, excellent standard of cleanliness. Choice of 2 lounge areas. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & would have no issues in recommending this lovely cottage.

Our host, Helen, was charming! The cottage had ample parking in the vicinity and was warm and welcoming inside when we arrived on a cold December evening. Mince pies and homemade cakes awaited us! The cottage is very clean and tidy with ample cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils in a very well appointed kitchen. The beds were clean, neat and tidy and very comfortable. We all had a lovely time and enjoyed seeing in the New Year there. Plenty of amenities in books, magazines, cd player and TV's. Thank you Helen!

If you’re looking for a beautiful, spacious, cosy and clean house in a gorgeous location then this is the place for you! Our host Helen, was so warm and welcoming and left us a selection of the best home baking. So much so we got her to write down the recipes. The large modern kitchen is a great sociable place and is equipped with everything you need, and more. The photos don’t do it justice, there is so much more than you see on the listing. The upstairs lounge has a sea view and French doors leading to a sunny balcony which overlooks the garden.The bedrooms are spacious and the comfortable beds have quality bed linen provided. Everything you need for a fabulous holiday is here, we didn’t want to leave and we are already planning our return trip in the autumn. You won’t be disappointed!

Comfortable and convenient

The house is ideally located with the bay and local shops nearby. The accommodation was comfortable, even cozy sitting on the window seat upstairs and looking out over the bay. The house was well stocked in terms of kitchenware, it was warm and clean. Some little things could be improved, locks on bathrooms for one but all in all a lovely stay. Thank you Helen.

Excellent Accommodation

Fantastic cottage ideally located, with parking directly opposite. Accommodation is split over 2 levels with a garden to the rear and was perfect for us while working locally. It really has everything you would require for an extended stay and with more than enough space for everyone to relax after a long day. Helen was lovely and, as others have commented on, her home bakes did not disappoint. It will be pleasure to return if the opportunity arises.

Enchanting home in beautiful Eyemouth

Wonderful home convenient to buses, groceries, great food and right on the harbor which is also on the Costal Path walkway. This home had everything we needed and then some. Lovely sun and sitting rooms with a great kitchen with all you need. Very comfortable and beautifully furnished. All is a reflection of the charming hostess. Helen is very welcoming, responsive and accommodating and a pleasure to meet! This home and location truly enhanced our stay in the area. We would highly recommend it.

Great Location

Property had everything needed (Including items for beach). Clean, plenty of room and in a good location. The host Helen very helpful. Everything close by shops, pubs, ice cream. Can reach Edinburgh park and ride in an hour or there is a bus stop across from the property with buses to Edinburgh, Berwick and other places. Enjoyed the scenic coastal walks (even spotted a pod of dolphins while walking). Coldingham Bay is a 10 minute drive with a picturesque beach and amenities. Enjoyed our stay and the local boat ride is worth doing.

Wonderful Eyemouth vacation.

Our party of 4 recently had a wonderful stay at Helen’s cottage in Eyemouth. It is cozy, very clean and well appointed, and couldn’t be in a better location, being within meters of the beach, the coastal walking path and just a short drive from St. Abbs or Berwick on Tweed. Eyemouth itself is a quaint fishing village with a picturesque harbour, a beautiful sandy beach, several great restaurants, and stunning views along the coastal path. Our host Helen was very pleasant and even greeted us with homemade baked goods, and gave us advice on local sightseeing and eateries. We definitely wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if the opportunity arises. A definite 5 out of 5. Thank you Helen!

Excellent location in middle of town, yards from beach. Double bed very comfortable, and electric blanket if needed. Enormous amount of cutlery plentiful crockery dishwasher, washing machine. Shower over bath upstairs, walk in shower downstairs. Helene is very informative and scones on arrival a nice touch. If you like to put your feet up at night and watch TV, there's no sky, Netflix, or catch up tv but all usual channels. Shops, pubs, restaurants all on doorstep. Can be noisy at night with local youths, but would highly recommend !!

Last minute booking

Booked last minute, and was very easy. Helen was lovely and very helpful. She brought us some home baking which was lovely! The cottage was lovely & cozy with a nice wee garden - it's a lot nicer than the photos.

Great time in Eyemouth

Great location in Eyemouth, just a few metres from the beach and very close to the coastal path which provided amazing walking. The house was clean, well equipped and spacious. Helen is a brilliant host, very friendly and gave us loads of information on places to go, activities and restaurants etc, not to mention the scones and cakes she baked for us! Very good holiday here.

Wonderful Eyemouth holiday cottage

Fantastic place to stay for a week's worth of diving out of Eyemouth and St Abbs. Helen is a lovely host, very responsive and made everything easy for us. Fab cottage, loads of space, very clean, everything in great working order and pretty much everything you could want in the kitchen! Lovely to sit out on the terrace when it was warm enough. Thanks Helen, we'll definitely be back!

Excellent all round

The house is ideally located opposite the free car park and supermarket. The arrangements were easy and Helen was in tune with what we were doing. We were given lots of delicious home made baking. The house was warm and cosy and had everything we needed
