Recent visit!

We arrived early afternoon and were told by the owners it wouldn’t be an issue to leave baggage. When we got to the villa we were greeted by the most arrogant English cleaner who was obstructive and rolled her eyes when we spoke to her. She was rude and most unhelpful. Not a great start. The villa itself was pleasant when we were finally able to check in. The outside space is lovely but could do with the pool being cleaned more regularly and some coals for the BBQ. The beds were comfortable but the sound of dogs barking all night every nite is bad so recommend ear plugs at night. The early morning cockerel is noisy too. The location is about 5/10 mins in an Uber from bars and restaurants. There was nowhere within walking distance but Ubers are cheap enough. We would stay again just think the place needs a little TLC and the dogs need gagging! Xx

Sorry to hear that you were not totally happy with your stay. We always try to accomodate early arrivals/late checkouts but on this occasion it was not physically possible due to the checkout time of the previous guests. We did correspond with you very clearly before your arrival by email that the villa would not be ready for your arrival until 4pm as the cleaner/maintence team would need this time to prepare it to the high standard that we require. Also, that it was fine for you to leave your luggage early and use an already cleaned bathroom to change. You asked if you could hang out around the pool/patio area but we explained that the cleaner/gardeners/pool maintenance would be preparing things so it would not be possible. You called me on the morning of your arrival by telephone requesting that the cleaner was to leave and that you didn't mind moving into a dirty villa. We simply could not do this. You expressed that you was unhappy with the cleaner because she would not tell you where to go for lunch, connect you to the internet and also that she would not call you an Uber. As soon as you called the villa manager, she gave you advice for all of this. The neighbour does have a dog but it definitely does not bark excessively. We do not advertise the villas as being in walking distance to large shops, bars, restaurants etc. (there is a small conveniece shop/cafe a 5 minute walk).

Perfection

We have stayed at the Villa now three of the last four years. There is not a thing we would change about the Villa. The pool is a major focal point and lovely to cool off in the hot summer sun. Lots of room inside and great facilities for everyone.

Fabulous outside area

we chose this villa for the outside space and we were not disappointed, however I think the downstairs bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen could all do with a little upgrading, also the upstairs twin bedroom is a little on the small side, the photos on the website are a bit deceiving and make everything look much more spacious. The pool and outside area were wonderful and this was where we spent most of our time and we would definitely come back again.

Perfect Algarve

Only a short drive from the airport the villa was perfect for our family, the grandchildren loved the pool, everything was in easy reach and we loved the area. Kimberley was great to deal with, communication was quick and easy, the welcome pack was very useful after the journey. Wonderful homely villa, with exceptional pool area!

Our family of three generations all thoroughly enjoyed our week in this delightful villa. Perfectly equipped, with many lovely homely touched with the artwork and decoration. Everyone had a lovely room, with two en suite bathrooms, and one large shared bathroom for the two bedrooms on the ground floor. We were able to enjoy a variety of terraces, both sunny, and shaded, at all times of the day. A few minutes drive takes you to Albufeira, with all of its attractions and great restaurants. Uber is available locally too, and was extremely good value. Kimberly was great for advice, and was on hand when one of our cases did not arrive, and brought it to us on our second day. There are a few dogs and cockerels living nearby....who can be heard doing their job of guarding homes and welcoming the morning, but the villa is in a country location surrounded by year round homes, so everyday life is to be expected and was not overly bothersome. We loved every minute in this fantastic villa, and will stay there again when we next return to the Algarve.😊
