This single-storey cottage is ideally placed close to Filey to enjoy the 5 miles of sandy beach.. All on the Ground Floor:

Living/dining room: Smart TV

Kitchen: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washer Dryer

Bedroom 1: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and high chair (available on request). Garden with patio area and barbecue. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Two pets welcome free of charge. Set in 2 acres of landscaped and natural gardens, these two single-storey holiday properties have been converted to a very good standard and retain many original features. Offering identical accommodation, they lie just 1 mile from the elegant traditional seaside town of Filey with its annual fishing festival, and over 5 miles of white sandy beaches sheltered by the rugged grandeur of Filey Brigg. Scarborough, 6 miles, also has beaches, theatres, shops and museums, and there is easy access to the North Yorkshire Moors National Parks, as well as many historic abbeys, castles and market towns to visit. Shops and pub 1 mile.

Beautiful cottage and would not hesitate to book again. Extremely cosy and homely. And dog friendly. But at a rate of £30 per dog 🐕 was extremely steep due to having two dogs 🐕 Which normally elsewhere is Free. I would still rate Magpie cottage 10/10

The cottage was lovely, it has all the equipment you could want.

The cottage was lovely, it has all the equipment you could want. It has very comfy beds, and the bathrooms were clean and fluffy towels provided. The only reason the cottage didn’t get 10/10 is because the outside patio furniture was dirty, and there were no cushions for the rattan chairs, we had a wonderful week of weather and it would of made our stay all the better if we could have used the outdoor chairs, so we could be outside with the dogs.

We had a good holiday but unfortunately the flooring was uneven stone slabs,this was a little difficult for me as have a bad back and difficulty with walking,they were very uneven,we had to rewash some of the cups don't no why as it had a dishwasher.The furniture outside had not been cleaned we had to clean it ourselves. It was situated in a lovely area.

The cottage was lovely, warm and clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Kitchen was well equipped and the cottage was central to all the places we wanted to visit. Quiet and restful and if you get the sun the garden patio area is a nice evening place to relax
