In a rural setting, but located just 3 miles south of the seaside town of Aberystwyth and with beautiful views of mountains and coast, No 5 Pengraig Draw is furnished and equipped to a very good standard. It is semi-detached and boasts comfortable accommodation for up to six people, and has a garden (enclosed by a low wall) and a decked terrace.
Picture yourself sitting on a sandy beach overlooking Cardigan Bay watching dolphins, cycling down country lanes, walking in the hills, or just strolling through one of many market towns. You can escape life’s hustle and bustle, and enjoy this region in so many ways. It’s the perfect location to book a family holiday for a short break or a longer stay.
You can discover clean sandy beaches with clear waters, caves, waterfalls, wild rugged cliffs and so much more. If you are bringing your pet on holiday, many of the beaches are dog friendly all year round. There are fabulous coastal walks across the headlands to secret coves rarely visited except by birds and the ghosts of ancient smugglers. The pretty coastal towns of New Quay and Aberaeron are well worth exploring, and offer quaint shops and a wide choice of cafés and restaurants. Sit on a harbour wall and drink in the atmosphere whilst enjoying a local honey ice cream or fish and chips!
The dignified, Victorian resort of Aberystwyth, with its electric cliff railway, promenade and pier, is close by, as are the compelling Cambrian Mountains, a ‘wild Wales’ of hill sheep farms, forest and lakelands. Take a stately meandering train ride on what was once a working link between local lead mines and the harbour. The Vale of Rheidol Railway now runs a steam train service through the Rheidol Valley terminating at Devil’s Bridge, and from here you can choose to go and see the three bridges over the river, or visit other attractions such as the famous Mynach Falls, Devil’s Punch Bowl and Jacob’s Ladder.
When you have returned to Pengraig after days out exploring, you can enjoy the tranquil location and children will appreciate the shared play area with toys. Beach 1 mile. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 3 miles.
No 5 Pengraig Draw can be booked together with No 1 Pengraig Draw (UK6434), No 2 Pengraig Draw (UK6435) and No 4 Pengraig Draw (CC621061) to accommodate up to 22 guests.
Children must be supervised on site due to possible safety hazards.
The water is from a spring, well or borehole, and not a mains supply.
Only dogs allowed at the property.

The cottage was perfect for what we needed.Yes it was a little bit tired in places, but it was totally functional, and brilliantly situated for the places we planned to visit. The owner was extremely helpful when we made a couple of last minute requests, from extra travel cot to allowing my daughter to park up with her campervan for the week.We had absolutely everything we needed, just one small recommendation, perhaps a shoe rack in the kitchen would be great, with four adults and two toddlers, there was a lot of footwear laying around.Fab family friendly and per friendly cottage!! Thank you!!
. Expérience mitigée pour nous. Dommage pour ce bel endroit.

Very roomy and beautifully located on a peaceful farm overlooking the fields and hills in the distance. Very comfortable, clean and well kitted out. All bedrooms have excellent en-suite facilities. Beaches 5 minutes drive away as is Aberystwyth itself. Morrisons also a short drive away.
We had the need to contact the owners both before and during our visit and must say they were very friendly and very eager to ensure you enjoyed your stay there. They were first class.

A lovely cottage in a lovely location, though the local narrow country roads need care and the nearest quiet country pubs require you to travel. Not a hardship, but designated drivers are required. The cottage was very comfortable, but one or two furnishings are a bit tired, the beds were spectacularly comfortable though and with each being en-suite the comfort levels were very high. A choice of duvet would help, as the provided ones were much heavier than we would use on the coldest night.
We will add this to our short list of cottages to return to in the future, superb value.

Good value for money in a lovely setting ,very spacious with all the facilities for a relaxed holiday.
Note Wi Fi would be helpful and a clear sign at the entrance especially if you are trying to locate Pencraigh farm in the Dark - All are minor points but perhaps helpful in the future . We were very pleased and enjoyed our stay in West Wales

An comfortable well appointed property on a working farm some three miles from Aberystwyth and only a short walk from the Ceredigion Coastal Path. This cottage has dramatic views towards Aberystwyth with Snowdonia beyond. No 5 was an excellent base for a walking holiday in a stunning part of Wales. The owners were friendly and helpful which positively contributed to a lovely stay, many thanks.

The property was wonderful however people need to be aware that Number 4 have a hot tub under neath the windows of bedroom 1. The views are absolutely fantastic and provided the neighbours are quiet it is very peaceful. The situation is brilliant for exploring all round the Aberystwyth area.
