This delightful cottage made the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye, with it being just 20 minutes from the Skye Bridge. It is situated on the shores of Loch Long and very peaceful without being too isolated. The view from the kitchen and lounge over the loch to mountain beyond alone made this one of my most memorable trips.
Lovely clean, extremely warm and well equipped property in a mesmerising location. The owner was lovely and provided great griddle scones. Will be coming back!

This was our second visit to the cottage which is a lovely cottage situated in an excellent position over the loch. It is great for wildlife spotting and in fact we spent about an hour one day watching an otter feeding and catching fish in the bay immediately below the cottage.
The cottage is in an ideal place for sight seeing and touring around the area, especially Skye as the Skye Road Bridge is only a few miles away. The owners are very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Wonderful cottage in a spectacular location.
Wonderful cottage in a spectacular location. Very relaxing and quiet area. The local shops are a bit away so plan your shopping in advance. Would highly recommend and hopefully we can return in future.
Had a lovely week in an idyllic lodge situated in amazing grounds .... scenery and wildlife made the stay more pleasing. Felt welcomed to the lodge on arrival and came to say bye on leaving ... Felt if there was any issues we could easily raise these with the owners (located near by). Lodge was amazing, and kept to an high standard.
Lodge provided a base to not just visit near by Isle of Skye but more of Mainland Scotland itself.
Would be very happy to return to Lodge and area again

Very pleased with almost everything except that to get to any services is a bit far from what I thought but then again that makes the place as quite as possible (that’s if you need quietness

Gorgeous cottage, looks so much smaller on the outside and the pictures do it no justice.
Gorgeous cottage, looks so much smaller on the outside and the pictures do it no justice. Stunning views of the loch and surrounding areas, and in the perfect location for calm rest. Our 5 year old and 21 month old really loved playing outside and it is catered to young families. Mrs Fraser came to see us and she was so helpful and lovely. We would recommend this cottage to everyone, and would love to come back for sure.

The local amenities score is an odd one to mark - as the cottage is very rural, amenities are not on your doorstep, the well stocked co-op is about 12 miles away at Kyle of Lochalsh and there's a small shop at Dornie (4 miles). The stunning location and the lovely cottage are just magical, you could sit all day and see something different in the ever changing sea Loch and be quite content. The owners are really helpful, friendly and very welcoming. There's also plenty to do out and about and the Highlands are stunning. We will definitely be back for another visit.
