Truly a home away from home!
Clean, comfortable and walkable to everything Hudson has to offer.
So glad you guys came and had a good time. Thanks for taking good care of my house. Please return again.
Two thumbs up!
We had a great time at the property. Everything was clean and well cared for. Mary Ann gave us lots of helpful information on where to go and where to eat like a local. We loved our time there.
Thank you for staying with me. It was a pleasure to have you. Please come back any time.
Worked well for us!
This apartment was much more than we needed, but it worked well for us. It was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Our host couldn't have been more accommodating.
The location was perfect!
Thanks guys. And thanks for leaving our home in great shape. Come back any time.
Great Spot - As Advertised
The house is just as it appears in the pictures. Spacious living room, three nice bedrooms and beautiful hardwood floors throughout. On a quiet block that is a short (10ish minutes) walk to Warren Street - the main thoroughfare in downtown Hudson, which has lots of great restaurants, bars and shops. The host Mary Ann also has lots of good ideas to share about the town and surrounding area, if you are interested.
Great to have you Matt. Come back any time!
Great and comfortable place to stay when in Hudson...
Friends and I rented from Mary Ann and could not have been happier with our couple of days in the area. Mary Ann was attentive and courteous and took care of anything we needed before we arrived and while we were in town. She met us with a warm smile when she gave us the keys and encouraged us to ask her anything during our visit. The set up of the property worked great for me and my two friends who each were able to take a room.
What was even better about the location was the proximity to Warren Street where all of the Hudson action is - boutique shopping, restaurants, bars, etc. The street is humming with activity so it was great to always be able to WALK to it but also be far enough away that you weren't overwhelmed by any of the human or car traffic.
We were in town for a wedding so we anticipated not being at the property that much but when we were hanging out in between events it was so comfortable and relaxing to just spend time talking on the couch and enjoying each other's company. The fact it didn't have a TV might be a drawback to some but for us it was nice to be "unplugged" even a little while we were in town...
I would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a getaway weekend to a great (and rapidly changing) town on the Hudson. Nice little gem...
Thanks Brian. It was nice having you guys, too. Vrbo didn't let me post a thank u at first, so I just hit all the stars I could ; D. Come back any time.
Most things in town are within walking distance, so car not always needed. Out of town, you'll need transportation. For a change of pace, Farmers' Markets, PYO orchards, beautiful scenery is just a short drive out of town.

About Mary Ann Gazzola
I like people - lots of them at once is ok with me. I owned a rollerskating rink for 20 years! I'm also a Realtor, and have been working in Hudson for 30 years, so I'm pretty knowledgeable, and a Hudson booster for sure. Just added a few self-guided tours to my info packages to spread the knowledge and help my guests "live like a local".

Why Mary Ann Gazzola chose Oakdale
We were looking to downsize, and move into town. Found this house on a great street, and here we are, enjoying the downstairs apartment and meeting some great visitors to our upstairs apartment.
What makes this Apartment unique
We really liked that we're in town, with all the advantages of walking everywhere, but on a quiet side street. We also wanted to be on the sunny side of the street, and liked the idea of a small but manageable front lawn and back yard, giving us some outdoor space and room to (eventually) have a garden and bbq. And the front porch is a variation of my stoop growing up in Brooklyn! I love this house!
