We had the privilege to stay a few days at this beautiful home! Gorgeous wrap around porch, spacious and comfortable. Equiped with everything needed to cook for the family. The fireplaces inside and out made it so cozy and perfect to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The experience from check in to check out was flawless. We loved it!

This is a wonderful house. Large, comfortable rooms, good kitchen setup, lots of amenities, quiet location, neighbors are not close by, and the view is so nice. Great for mornings and evenings on the large wrap around porch. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again.

The pictures and reviews are very misleading. I've rented 25 VRBO's and Airbnd's and this is the by far was the worst experience for many reasons. The place looks like a hoarder owns it. Old bedding, towels, old appliances, and junk everywhere. Mold in the downstairs shower/bathtub, cobwebs everywhere. the place hasn't been really cleaned in a long time. Cookware is the worst I've used in a rental.Refrigerator was dirty, and we had to clean it before putting anything in it. The oven and BBQ looked that haven't' been cleaned in a long time.We arrived and the dishes in the dishwasher were dirty. We were just going to wash them and found there was no dishwasher soap. Other things not supplied, trashcan liners and paper towels. We had to message Mary Jane, the owner to bring us some. She did respond quickly and brought what should have been there in the first place.Attached is a picture of items in disrepair and just junk on the deck.Look elsewhere if you want a place that is clean and stocked with at least the bare essentials.

This is our second year choosing to stay at this amazing cabin like home in Brown’s Valley. It is so comfortable, homey and beautiful. Everything we needed was provided. The wrap around deck offers protected space for reading and enjoying the natural setting. We will be back again next year. It has become our home away from home.

Do not stay here- many other better listings

Our stay at this place was horrible. The host left us outside in 110 degree weather without a key. She made us go to the back entrance after 10 minutes to get in.The fridge was dirty- had hair in it which was gross and the oven had utensils in it as well.The sink on the bottom floor is unusable so there was one bathroom sink for a crowd.We almost left without staying a second nightI would pay a motel 50 dollars for such a place.Do yourself a favor and find yourself another space.

We were in the area for a wedding, and this property worked beautifully to house our family at half the price of local hotels. Great value! Spacious, with great gathering spaces. Remote feeling and beautiful setting!

Short stay

The place worked out great because it had a lot of room. It actually had more rooms and bathrooms than described. Just wish the property was a little more cleaned up and easier access from driveway to front door for those who have balance issues.

Relaxation paradise

This property is very unique. My family and I spent Christmas here as a way to get away from the hustle and bustle of it all. The cabin style of the house provided that with surrounding nature, including the sounds of the creek right in the back yard. Mary Jane does an excellent job of maintaining and making sure the house is stocked and taken care of. Because it is such a treasure , guests should take care

Always an amazing time!

We absolutely love staying here every year as our small family vacation to get away from all the stress before Christmas. The house is always clean and welcoming and the property is beautiful even when its raining. 100% recommend it for a peaceful getaway.
