Mentone Getaways "Mystic Hideaway" is a romantic cabin for two near Mentone and Desoto State Park. This cabin features a king-size bed, a hot tub on the back deck , an electric fireplace, DISH satellite TV, ROKU streaming, DVD player and a VoIP telephone with free incoming and outbound calls to anywhere in the U.S. 48. The cabin is an all wood rustic cabin that offers the comforts of home for that perfect vacation or weekend getaway. This cabin offers privacy and is a honeymoon and anniversary favorite. There is a two night minimum stay on the weekend and holidays. 1 night stay is okay during the week as long as we have a turnaround time before the next guest arriving. We now have High Speed WIFI available for our guests.

extremely dirty no evidence it's cleaned between clients. The bathroom smelled like urine in the shower was dirty floor was soft. There was a bloody Band-Aid on the edge of the indoor tub. We swept five large dustpans full of filth from the floor in the living room bedroom and kitchen area it was dried food on the dishes the counters the furniture and the table and the bed clothes look question on whether they were clean or not the hot tub leaked about 40 yards of water per day and only had a few jets working and the owner how to plaque asking you to fill the hot tub daily. In reading what other clients had put in we noticed people had been asked to fill the hot tub daily since 2022. if VRBO really had customer service instead of AI and automated machines keeping you from getting customer service we would've looked for another place instead we clean the place up. My fiancé has a cleaning company and would love to send him a bill

Nice back porch but the outdoor hot tub needs work.
Nice kitchen but the microwave on the counter is nasty in the inside.
Found a pair of woman panties under the bed! Gross! Under the bed needs to be swept. It’s so dusty that the old panties has dust on them.
Cute heart shape hot tub but we couldn’t use it.

Host was great! He was responsive, quick and helpful. Cabin living room, kitchen and bedroom were okay. Lots of dirt webs that have been there for years. I tested the smoke alarms and they didn’t work. Also the fire extinguisher was empty. I alerted the host and he brought new batteries and extinguisher. I installed them all properly and tested them. The cabins bathroom was subpar. The tub is cracked, leaks, the faucet is broken and someone plumbed it with rough plumbing to be able to fill it with water. The bathroom floor is sagging, broken, and dirty. The outdoor hot tub had little to no chlorine. I did not get to use it or the indoor tub due to its condition. I rented this cabin because it had a hot tub (2). I only rated this 2 stars because the host was good and the tv’s worked. Oh, wifi is decent too.

The cabin was very quiet and pretty secluded, even though there were neighbors nearby. It was like you was out by yourself. The home was clean and well stocked, nice amenities, like a hot tub and one of those heart-shaped bathtubs in the bathroom. Hope you have a little extra things just really to make you stay enjoyable
