Mentone Getaways "Mystic Hideaway" is a romantic cabin for two near Mentone and Desoto State Park. This cabin features a king-size bed, a hot tub on the back deck , an electric fireplace, DISH satellite TV, ROKU streaming, DVD player and a VoIP telephone with free incoming and outbound calls to anywhere in the U.S. 48. The cabin is an all wood rustic cabin that offers the comforts of home for that perfect vacation or weekend getaway. This cabin offers privacy and is a honeymoon and anniversary favorite. There is a two night minimum stay on the weekend and holidays. 1 night stay is okay during the week as long as we have a turnaround time before the next guest arriving. We now have High Speed WIFI available for our guests.

Don’t stay here

The bathroom floor feels like it’s about to cave in from wood rot. The hot tub smells like mildew. The dust on the lamps and curtains you could scrape with a spoon. The bath tub was filthy and not enough hot water to fill it up. Don’t waste your time renting this place.

Not up to code

We checked in and only stayed 20- minutes max… house was not up to par… mold out around hot tub which was covered with foam board and we was asked to keep water full.. we was asked to wash our sheets before leaving and put back on bed along with washing our towels and folding.. water hose was hooked to hot water tank, running to hot tub.. above washing machine was sheets balled up like they need washing. Outside rail leading into house was very unsafe.. we just could not stay.. dropped ice on floor, when we wiped up the paper towel was literally BLACK.. First time using VRBO and probably my last.. my experience was awful
