Welcome to The Pines of Apple Valley!

NEW FOR 2023, CHRISTMAS LIGHTS AT THE PINES OF APPLE VALLEY!
Stay with us and enjoy our Christmas Majic from November 15th - January 2nd.

Apple Valley Guest Passes: Available to our guests for $50 flat fee per stay. The pass gives our guests use of the Apple Valley Pools, the Bennett Pond, three Beaches and Parks.

We are the perfect place to enjoy nature. With 31 cabins, we are ideal for Golf Outings, Weddings, Family Reunions, Family Adventure Weekend, or just getting away from home for a weekend.

Each cabin sleeps up to Six Guests. Three bedrooms with: King Size Bed, King Size Bed, and Two Twin Extra Long Beds.

Each cabin has;
* Three bedrooms,
* Two full bathrooms,
* A fully equipped kitchen,
* Living room with 50" large screen flat panel smart TV,
* 300mb, high speed WiFi Internet,
* Private deck.
- Pets are allowed if crated. $35 per night, per pet. Maximum two pets per unit. Pets are NOT allowed on Couches, Chairs or Beds.

- Absolutely NO Smoking of anything inside the units. Smoking outside is fine, please leave butts in outside grills.


We are next to the very popular and well reviewed, Apple Valley Golf Course.

Apple Valley Golf Course has a great restaurant, open for Breakfast and Lunch during season.

The Apple Valley Golf Course Clubhouse also has a 100 person Meeting Room/ Party Center, that makes this a great place for Weddings, Company Parties, Family Reunions, or Business Retreats. Call them directly for more information. Guests can walk back and forth from our property! Perfect for on site wedding groups and golfers.

Great getaway pet friendly

We just wanted to get away with our pets within two hours of Cleveland, and this fit the bill. Great local patios that are dog friendly. Cons would be: nowhere to walk the dogs (the complex is small and the streets have no sidewalks) and the pool is a 10-minute drive away

Nice place

We were there a short period of time before my child got sick, and we had to leave. Nice inside - bigger than I thought. Owner was easy to correspond with. Was fine for kids, but best suited for golfing retreats. Need to drive to water/pool, etc.

Spacious house. Nice comfy beds. Nice area. Only recommendation would be to add solar lights to tops of posts where condo numbers are on apple’s for people coming in after dark. Tough to see numbers in the dark. Also some darker bedroom blinds would be great for early summer sunshine coming in windows. Great place for family

Apple Valley 3 day getaway

Overall we had a good experience. The area was very quiet and just a 5 minute drive from the beach which was nice. We were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the condo. We have an infant who is crawling and within 10 minutes of being in the condo, her feet and hands were black. My wife and I went around and wiped up all the floors. Also, when we first got to the property, someone working the grounds walked in our condo without knocking. He was very apologetic, but it still made us a little uneasy.

A very nice place to stay!

Our party consisted of four adults and two preteens. Our unit was clean, comfortable and spacious. The living room furniture was comfortable and the beds were wonderful. I would love to know the brand of the mattresses. They are very comfortable. Much more comfortable than our mattress at home. The property is also peaceful and quiet. Our kitchen had a medium and small stainless steel pan and a large non-stick skillet, as well as a glass baking dish. If you're going to cook large meals, I would suggest bringing a couple items from home, such as a slow cooker or large pot, but this worked for us. Plus, there are charcoal grills on the property and there are several restaurants nearby in Mt. Vernon. In the past, I've brought pressure cookers, slow cookers and stock pots with me, but I traveled lighter this year and I didn't do as much cooking as I have in the past. The kids enjoyed the outdoor pool and we spent a lot of time doing activities outside of the neighborhood, such as horseback riding in Mansfield and tubing the Mohican River. We also fished Apple Valley Lake by the boat dock and the kids caught several bluegills. One of the kids caught a decent small mouth bass. We didn't visit the indoor pool or the beaches. Maybe next time. My husband is already talking about going back and we just got home a few hours ago. We will definitely be back. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious and convenient

Stayed here this weekend for a family wedding. Plenty of sleeping and living room space, wonderful condo. Guys were able to easily get in a round of golf Saturday morning .

Overall nice stay

We enjoyed the area and the property, but our unit was a bit lacking. I was told they're getting around to remodeling all units and ours definitely showed it's age. Kitchen could have been better stocked as far as pots and pans and it would have been nice to have screen doors so we could have fresh air. We expected a washer and dryer as in pictures shown online, but discovered after arrival that our unit had none. We would go back, maybe in a few years after improvements are made.

Lovely little getaway

My son boyfriend and myself spent the weekend there. The place was exceptional. Great little outdoor games and a playground. The check in and out process was super easy and really had great communication and will be back hopefully regularly :)

Great Quick Getaway!

We decided on this location because it was a quick jaunt away from Cincinnati, and we were able to bring our dog! We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was the perfect way to spend time and relax. The kids enjoyed the play area and went to the indoor pool and I was even able to get a run in around the neighborhood. We enjoyed the fireplace. The beds were super comfy, much better than at a hotel. The kitchen was stocked with almost everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving meal, minus the roasting pan which we had brought on our own anyway. I am sure in the summer, there is more to do and see with the lake and beach areas, we just wanted to relax. We enjoyed the games at the cabin, etc.

Great Location but Cleanliness Not Up to Par

We loved the Apple Valley location. It was very quiet. There was plenty of room. The kitchen and dishes were not clean. Neither was the stove or refrigerator. I expected better during the pandemic. We opened one of the casement windows and it almost fell out. We had to go outside to close it. Much updating and maintenance needs to be done.

Review of unit #6

We very much enjoyed our stay - it was a quiet location with a short drive to the closest beach area. The unit was spacious and clean. The only suggestion is to remove the carpet (especially in the largest bedroom) and put in flooring - there was a strong mildew smell that is especially an issue with people who have allergies. There also needs to be a mat in the showers as it's very slippery.

Pleasant quiet property

Went as a family during the height of the pandemic enjoyed a nice lazy trip down the Kokosing river Athens is just a few minutes away if you need supplies. The property was clean a spacious and Matt was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Stay

This was a fun and relaxing trip due to the pool, beaches, parks, and golf course near by. There was something for the whole family! The condo was super spacious, too. We wish we would have stayed longer :-)

Quiet and relaxing

We stayed during the week and it was quiet and very relaxing. There were more people in the area over the weekend but it was still pleasant. The condo was clean and had been renovated as the listing states. Everything was as promised. These condos are right beside the golf course so if you are a golfer it is perfect. We aren't golfers so we enjoyed the beach and pool. It took a little exploring to find these since we weren't familiar with the area. A map at the condo would have been helpful. Matt did give directions when we contacted him. Thanks for a good stay.
