The apartment has been in the family since the residence was built in the late 1960s and was bought as a holiday home by our French grandfather, who was in the wine business in Burgundy. We inherited it in 1997 and the apartment was renovated in 2016. We live with our 2 daughters in Kent, England.

A spacious, modern apartment that afforded us plenty of comfort during our stay.
A fantastic base from which to explore Nice and the surrounding coast. Set in lovely private gardens the apartment was spacious for the 4 of us, comfortable in modern surroundings and private. The balcony on three sides was a bonus allowing plenty of light into the living space. We would have no hesitation in recommending this rental to friends and certainly would consider a return visit. The neighbour who lives the other side is very kind, nice and helpful.
The club house is also worth to go. But they only have French description and the lady can't understood English. We only gave up to use the club house facilities.

Spacious apartment in good location
My husband and I spent a week in July here with 3 teenagers. The apartment was very spacious, with a large lounge/dining room that had 2 sets of patio doors out to the balcony, 3 good sized bedrooms, all with access to balcony, 2 bathrooms, one had a wall mounted shower and seperate toilet, the other had a hand held shower. The kitchen was well equipped. There was a freezer and washing machine in a cupboard off the balcony which was handy. The balcony went round 3 sides of the apartment, although only one side getting the sun in the morning. There are 5 blocks of high-rise flats here, this block being 13 floors high, but it was surprisingly quiet and very residential with trees and grass surrounding the area. Having a parking space in the garage kept the car cool. There is no grocery shop there now, and supermarket 10 mins. drive away. A shop would have been handy to get fresh rolls/bread in the mornings!
The cost of using the club added nearly 200 euro to our week.Tickets have to be bought in books of 10 for 62 euro and weekly passes cannot be bought during the week, which was a pity when we arrived on a Thursday! It has a lovely, large, clean pool, although very deep for the majority of it, which only got busy at the weekend. There is a games room off poolside, a toddlers' pool for young children, play area and tennis courts, which get busy in the evenings. There is a restaurant which is handy if you do not want to drive.
We are used to driving abroad but found the local roads very confusing and congested with a lot of tolls on the motorways, perhaps it would have been better to take the bus from the apartments to the local train station and use the trains!
We did enjoy visiting Nice, Cannes, St Tropez and Monaco while staying there.
We would not hesitate in recommending this spacious apartment to friends.

Pleasant location near Nice
The apartment with three bedrooms was good for our group of 6 persons. In addition there were a large living room and a separate kitchen. The balkony was nice facing to three directions - the main one towards south-east -> nice breakfast and lunch location.
The arrangements were good - the key was sent promptly and there were good instructions from the host.
Although there were several big appartment-houses in the area, it was pleasant and pretty quite location. The club had three tennis courts, that were available for us with reasonable fee (14 Eur/day).
The only drawback was the fact, that the nice-looking large pool was already closed in October. But there are a lot of good beaches in the Riviera area!
I recommend to have a car although there is a frequent (30 min intervals) buss connection to the nearby town (Cagnes-sur-Mer).
Review of Property 9214 - Cagnes sur Mer
Certainly the property is as described and is clean, well-equipped/maintained and comfortable.
In particular, it is very large and there were five of us with more than enough space for the week.
The owner was also very friendly and prompt in his communications with us too.
It's in a good location for getting to the the towns along the Riviera. The nearest is Cagnes sur Mer where we didn't spend much time, but preferred instead to go to either Nice (approx. 15 minutes' drive) or Cannes (approx. 20 minutes' drive). There is a shop on site but of the three times we went to use it, it was closed on two of them. It was however very well stocked with fresh fruit & veg.
A car is pretty essential though there is a train station at Cagnes sur Mer. I'd also say take your sat nav with you or hire one with your car (and don't bring your Tom Tom with the wrong memory card in it as we did!) as the roads can be very confusing in my view.
Overall, we really enjoyed our time at the appartment and would definitely consider using it again if we return to the Cote d'Azur.
Wonderful stay in Le Riou
Wir (5 Personen, 17 bis 53 Jahre) verbrachten zwei wundervolle Wochen in der großzügigen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung. Die Lage eignet sich optimal für Ausflüge in die entzückenden mittelalterlichen Dörfer und Städte an der Küste und im Hinterland. Verschiedene Strände, vor allem der teilweise sandige Rosy Beach sind in mit dem Auto in einigen Minuten zu erreichen. Ebenso Supermärkte, Bäckerei.... Sollte man ohne Auto unterwegs sein, so fährt ein Bus direkt von der Wohnanlage.
Der Vermieter ist äußerst entgegenkommend und freundlich. Durch die überdachten Balkone und Markisen ist es auch bei hohen Außentemperaturen in der Wohnung von der Temperatur her angenehm.
An organic market stall comes into the Residence very Thursday morning selling bio fruit, vegetables, meat and cheese (in the car park before the entrance barrier).
