Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay at our holiday house. We appreciate your honesty and would like to address your concerns. Regarding the linen, we want to clarify that it is optional and noted at the time of booking. We did offer the linen package, however the guest declined. Note - A complimentary set of king sheets were provided. As for using beach towels when showering, this was your choice as you opted not to have the linen package. We respect our guests' preferences and provide options accordingly. We are sorry to hear that you found the bedding to be of lower quality than expected. The bed is a Sealy Posture Premier, only two years old, and the doona cover is made from luxurious woven 100% Belgian linen. Additionally, we provided Adairs bamboo cotton 600tc sheets as a complimentary gesture. Regarding the kitchen items, we personally inspected and cleaned all items prior to your stay. We take pride in maintaining high-quality fittings and a fully equipped kitchen. If there were any broken utensils, we would have appreciated more specific details to address the issue promptly. The hole in the kitchen ceiling is a remnant of an old water leak from five years ago. It is a small crack that does not affect the overall experience or safety of our guests. We have attached a picture for your reference. We cleaned all the windows inside and out two days before your arrival, including the window sills and skirting boards. We have inspected the windows again after the long weekend guests, and they remain spotless. Your claim are false and misleading. Regarding cobwebs, we regularly treat the house for spiders every six months, and we did so two days before your stay. We can assure you that there are currently no cobwebs or spiders on the premises. We are sorry to hear that you felt the building had a run-down appearance and feeling. The house was renovated three years ago, and all the furnishings and fittings are of high quality and relatively new. We take great pride in maintaining our property to ensure a pleasant stay for our guests. We understand that receiving a poor review can be disappointing, especially when it may impact future bookings. We strive to provide exceptional experiences for our guests, and it is disheartening when our efforts are not fully recognised.
