Absolutely wonderful stay. Andruschco is the perfect host, a real gentleman, he organized our transfers without us even asking. The apartment is spacious and clean and has 2 well sized shower rooms. The location is incredible, perfectly situated in the heart of Cavtat and the garden area is something you won't get anywhere else, with a choice of a shaded, natural garden and a roof terrace with a perfect view of the bay. If you like character and charm this is a hidden gem.

Andrusko the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. He was very attentive. We were moved to the 1st floor not 2nd floor as we had booked but it still fit in 7 people and had a lovely little terrace the 2nd floor doesn’t have. The garden and ‘terrace’ (ie roof) were better than the photos.Guests need to bring or buy all household goods eg toilet paper, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets, washing powder, shampoos, shower gel, oil, herbs etc. We were surprised there was so little there.Great location as so close to everything central but still felt private and relaxing.

This location and property ownervwere both top notch! The location on the harber was perfect for exploring the town. The views were amazing. Swimming in the protected harbor via steps with a handrail into the cordoned off swimming area was 15 yards away. The property owners were so kind, and generous. They helped with our day planning and suggestions for restaurants. Everything in town was just steps away.Taxis aren't allowed in the town center, but our driver helped us get our bags the two blocks to this historic villa. This location is a gem. I wish I was still there! It's a 10 out of 10 for me.The rooms were clean, and the kitchen well stocked with plates, etc. For us, we all agreed that it was location, location -- LOCATION that made this a great choice at this historic property.

A very comfortable family apartment in the most perfect location

Where do I start when describing our fabulous stay in Cavtat! Not only is Cavtat the perfect location - a beautiful, bustling little town just a boat or bus ride from Dubrovnik - but Villa Andrusko happens to be in the most perfect location within the town too. No steep steps to climb with this property, Villa Anmdrusko is located right on the water's edge by the water polo so you are a stone's throw from the sea, the promenade, the restaurants, the bakery, grocery store and super yachts! Hence we give the location a 10 out of 10. As for the property, it is reached through a door in a stone wall around the back of the Poseidon Restaurant and has a beautiful, peaceful walled garden. Much of this is in the shade, with garden furniture to relax on. There is also a higher terrace from which to view the famous sunsets (which did also act as a useful place for hanging washing), a table tennis table (mind your head on the tree!) and access to a tennis court behind. The garden was shared by Andrusko's family who live on the ground floor of the house with the two self-contained holiday apartments on the first and second floors. We stayed in the first floor apartment which sleeps 6 in 3 spacious bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms faced the sea and led out to the balcony. Whilst the view was a bit impeded by trees, it was still very pleasant to sit out on the balconies and watch the boats out to sea. All of the bedrooms were nicely furnished, and we slept well on the comfortable beds with the very welcome air conditioning. The apartment had two immaculate shower rooms, each with shower, sink and toilet, accessed from the main hallway. There was also a very well equipped kitchen with seating and space for all of us. There was no lounge, which might sound a bit unusual but we simply didn't miss it at all. I understand that the second floor apartment was very similar (no balconies but better views) and sleeps 7. The icing on the cake was Andrusko himself and his son - yes, they discretely refreshed bed linen and towels etc regularly - but more importantly, were amazingly welcoming and friendly. Our taxis to and from the airport were arranged for us, discounts on day trips and restaurants were discussed (everyone knows Andrusko!), homemade walnut brandy was shared with us and farewell breakfast tea and coffee was served. We felt privileged to have experienced such wonderful hospitality and felt we had found the real Croatia with Andrusko and his family!

6/10 Okay

Nice area

Owner was very friendly. But don't expect any privacy as the second floor is rented to others, we were under impression we got whole house which we did not. We were on third floor, straight up the stairs to 3 bedrooms and a bedroom turned into kitchen. No place to relax except bring chairs to top of stairs in small hallway with no floor space. So glad I brought night lights as very dark and if had to use a bathroom in the night no guard or protection from falling down stairs as right where you needed to walk. Very unsafe and uncomfortable . There was a terrace which you could take down your wine through other people's laundry hanging and move the plastic chairs to a clear spot. Maybe this is how it works in Croatia but a little disturbing. We had a great time as we brought our girlfriends and owner was nice.

I am sorry the ladies got wrong impression about accommodation. I need to be precise in this business exactly to avoid a review like this. and every review means a lot to us. It is a different price between one apartment / one floor and the whole house /two floors of the house. I can't be wrong about that. I'm also sorry we don't have a living room as the most of the apartments but we decided so because we usually have guests who wants more space and most of the time are out. I know this a flaw and I can only apologize about this but this is clearly mention on the site that one apartment consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms and the kitchen. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. and there is no bedroom furniture in it,as on the picture. There is a hallway light which most of the guests keep on all night long and there is no real danger of falling even when the light is off. I apologise once again for inconvenience and misunderstanding. The outside terrace is very large (20x20m),on one side there are two clothe lines but other side on the terrase with tables is big enaugh to sit and enjoy the suset and stunnig view over the bay. Just to wish you a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year. We hope 2018 brings you much joy. Andrusko & crew
