Another Great Stay

We can’t say enough how great and prompt the communication with the staff is. (Thanks Dan & staff). Like how units are fully stocked and always in good condition. This year was very apparent as we stayed later with another company and that was not up to ITrips standards (lesson learned). Would book this unit again.

Relaxing Get A Way

This condo was off the beaten path of Clearwater. It was very quiet and we had the whole beach and ocean pretty much to our selves. The condo had everything we needed for the week and grocery stores were not far away. There is a good restaurant across the road or if you enjoy a little walk there were restaurants around a mile away. We had a very relaxing and much needed week away with the girls

Beautifully remodeled condo right on the water

This is the only time I’ve gone to a VRBO when the unit was nicer than the pictures, they have done a lot of updating since these pictures. We had a fabulous time. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfortable. Great location across the street from a restaurant The couches were comfortable, and we had an amazing stay thank you for sharing your house with us.

We had a great time in Florida. The room was perfect for our family of 5. The beach views, location, and access were perfect. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location for activities we had planned was perfect. We were able to adjust our reservation after the Southwest airlines Christmas mess.

We were there during the hurricane I would like more communication from our property manager, and the building manager . We had a fabulous time. Everything was there that we needed. We would definitely go again.

Fall Rejuvenation

Nice property, condo was clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Very nice balcony to sit and take in the beautiful gulf. I also appreciated the security code to get into the room. It was nice not having to keep up with a card or key.

Fantastic

Condo was even better than the pics shown on the web. Kitchen fully loaded, beds very comfy, Living Room TV was updated to a large screen, and some of the furniture also updated. All in all, super nice! I'd definitely book this unit again.

Location was great. Access to beach good. Made calls and texted about two TVs in bedrooms not working. Yes one got back with us about solving the problem. Had two children in our group would have been extremely helpful to have working TVs to help with quiet time and bedtime for them. Very disappointed with yes resolution. Cleanliness was so so.

Needs cosmetic updates

Walls were dirty and could use a good coat of paint. Not many outlets. No place to put bathroom stuff. A sturdy shelf it cupboard above the toilet could be helpful for storing toiletries during a stay. Ceiling fans would do wonders, esp in bedrooms. But overall, we had a great stay and loved the area.

CLEAN, Beautiful, comfortable, equipped.

Condo was extremely clean upon arrival. Updated! Unobstructed view of the gulf. All beds were very comfortable. Keurig coffee pot! Ice maker in freezer. Fully equipped kitchen (could use a few wine glasses and maybe some plastic kid friendly cups). Outside closet with beach chairs, umbrella and a large cooler. Plenty of linens and towels provided. Washer/dryer in unit was a plus! Dishwasher works great but make sure you get a good dishwashing detergent (not store brand) or it will leave residue. Will come again.

Unit was as described but not

Unit was clean but in need of a good deep cleaning. Two front door need repairs or replaced. Leaks and cracks let noises n light in. No security issues they locked fine. New a/c senors need to be installed better, kept tripping even with the doors n windows locked. With the 20 mins reset time it hard to stay cool and kept the unit pretty hot. Very nice place and enjoyable visit overall

Disappointed

This was our 4th time staying at Sandcastle I, and the most disappointing. The condo could use a whole new paint job, even the baseboards. There is a giant hole on the front door where the deadbolt SHOULD be, but is not. All of the furniture needs to be updated/replaced. The dryer took forever to dry. When we arrived, the place was covered in sand. The towels were soaking wet, and we had to dry them ourselves. As much as it costs to stay here, we were very disappointed.

It was ok

Checking in was easy, no contact. I never did locate the "welcome info" that was supposed to be inside the condo. The parking pass was just a piece of paper. The wifi password that we found was incorrect, but an email to the manager received a quick response with correct info. Beautiful view of the gulf. The kitchen was nice. 2 shower stalls, no bath tub. Very loud construction across the street for most of the week. A hydraulic, crane-mounted hammer pounding steel beams into the ground made quite the alarm clock! I would suggest blackout curtains for the bedrooms facing east. The decor wasn't much, but like the title says, it was ok.

Nice vacation but condo could use a good cleaning and some maintenance.

This was an enjoyable family vacation but was disappointed with our condo. Could use a good cleaning, fresh paint and needs some maintenance. There is an outside door from the second bedroom and it needs a deadbolt lock. The sliding door off the main bedroom does not lock. When my daughter turned down her bed in the small bedroom, there was a hair in the bed and could not use it the first night. We stripped the bed and washed the sheets the next day. The mattress was dirty and stained also. Some of the pillows looked terrible and need replacing. We love this area but definitely will not pick this condo again.

Loved having super easy access to the beach! The rooms fit our needs as a family with 4 children. At the time of our rental, various products remained from previous renters or Itrip that were super helpful (salt shaker, oil, coffee filters, laundry detergent, paper plates). Additionally there were several toilet rolls per bathroom and several trash bags to use. Also, there were plenty of beach supplies (4 (2 sm/2lg) boogie boards, 4 beach chairs, 2 umbrellas, small buckets and shovel) in the balcony closet which we enjoyed and added to. The condo could use a facelift (fresh paint to cover scuffs and past poor paint jobs) and some minor maintenance repairs (a door hinge was falling out of the frame). We did find some staining on the master bedroom sheets... they were clean but stained. I would suggest replacing them completely. Overall, this condo was convenient and fit our trip needs.

Disappointed

Upon arrival 9/17/22, one of the first things we encountered was that there were two elevators to this 10 story building, but only one was working. This was the case the entire week we were there. To complicate matters, there was a lot of construction going on in this building so workers were also using the one elevator which was a little frustrating since at times the door would open, but you couldn't get on due to no space available. The next thing we encountered on arrival was that all towels on towel bars were very damp, so we had to toss them in the dryer to be usable. The utility door for the washer/dryer closet was off track, so it was just hanging. The door to the condo only had the keyless entry lock, no deadbolt and door wasn't in the best condition, with daylight showing at the bottom. Shower curtain looked a little moldy/dirty and entire place could have used a coat of paint. Wall light switches looked filthy. Best thing about this condo was the beach. Would probably not stay here again.

Nice property, but needs some TLC

Overall we had a great stay, the property is in a great location with beautiful beach views. The area is so easy to navigate. Check in was a breeze. As for the unit… It’s in an older building, and it shows it’s age. Pros: The kitchen and bathrooms have been nicely updated, beds were VERY comfy with new mattresses, and the living room seating was comfy! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. The unit was quiet, we barely heard any neighbors. The smart TV in the living room was nice. The AC worked beautifully. Cons: the floors could use a good deep clean. Our feet were filthy walking around barefoot the first 2 hours in the unit. There were a couple safety/security issues that made us feel uncomfortable. The locks on the doors have all been replaced. But the old locks remain in place, and aren’t fitted to the doors properly, so there’s a gap where you can see in. There are two deadbolt locks without the bolt in place, so they’re useless. The larger guest bedroom has a door that leads to outside but only locks with a knob lock. It needs a second lock! There’s also a peephole on that door. I looked out it and could feel air coming in on my eye. I looked closer and realized there’s no glass in the peephole, and actually, it’s not even attached to the door at all. I could easily remove it leaving just a hole in the door. Not cool. Replace the peephole or seal the hole up! Thankfully I checked the front windows (in the guest/kids bedrooms) when we arrived, as they were both unlocked. There are several outlets in the unit that just don’t work. There are light switches that do nothing. No overhead lights, just lamps. We would consider staying here again if the issues with the locks, peephole, and outlets were all repaired.
