Fantastic view of ocean from balcony! Kitchen was stocked with dishes and pans, thank you. Loved the openness of kitchen with living room. Cathy was wonderful during checkin and checkout. With exception of kitchen, Condo is a little dated. Could use a new shower head in master bathroom and new lock to door. It would have been nice to have 4 chairs as seen in photos with table on balcony vs 2. (Loungers were there as pictured) Has 2 elevators in building and only one was working. Overall, very pleased and would recommend. Beautiful beach, location, and pool/hot tub was nice and clean. Staff does a great job keeping the outside clean. We enjoyed our time.April D.

Adequate but needs updating to match price

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 6 has been traveling to Indian Shores for many years. We have seen an uptick in prices over the last 5 years for 3 bedroom condos and in some cases the price uplift is somewhat offset by updates in the condos. This is not the case for unit 2506. Here is what we saw: old bathrooms that struggled to flush; window shades missing many of the panels that provide privacy at night and sleep-in time for morning; laundry room door completely missing last year and now only covered with a bathroom curtain (very noisy); inefficient air flow in condo (box fans should have been our clue) so front rooms remained warm for sleeping; and lack of usable furniture on balcony made it impossible for all of us to sit out at same time. We still made the best of it but next year we will likely look elsewhere.

Good Spring Break

The view is excellent and location perfect! Appliances all worked perfectly! Provided beach towels would be a plus. A couple of beach chairs would be appreciated. King mattress was a bit soft for our taste. All in all, a good place to stay.

Location of the condo is excellent, the view, pool and hot tub are outstanding and the beds are comfortable. However, the couch is very hard to get up from as it sits very low. Suggestions: furniture could be updated and a side chair & area rug would be a nice addition to seating in the living room. A few rugs would also be nice especially to cut down on tracking in sand from the balcony. Bedrooms 2 & 3 need ceiling fans/lights as they tend to be very warm regardless of the A/C. Laundry needs doors instead of curtains to cut down on the sound when running. Outdoor furniture is old, very dated & needs more seating for more than two people. Adult size beach chairs that sit higher would be nice for those who fly in for vacation to enjoy the beach (especially older folks!). More beach artwork and decorations would help to feel more homey/cozy.Biggest & most important issue that needs attention is the front door. As a guest I didn’t feel that the door was secure for safety due to the corrosion. A coded door handle would be a plus for guest and omits the issue of lost keys.

Ground at this condo are well maintained and the pool area is great. Florida Lyfestyles was great to work with. The kitchen in the condo was wonderful and the unit was clean. The balcony was large and provide a perfect place to watch sunset and dolphins playing in the water. The bedrooms are satisfactory but need new blinds. Anyone from across the street at Caddy's can see into the unit since part of the blind was missing. Nothing prevents the parking lot lights from shining in all night. It was great to have a washer and dryer in unit! I would stay again.

Somewhat disappointing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we arrived we noticed some issues that dealt with cleaning as well as items in need of repair. We contacted the owners who forwarded our list to FL Lifestyle and in their defense they tried to correct three out of several problems during our stay. We paid extra to stay in a unit with a washer/dryer, and an entire week+ went by before they sent someone to "fix" the dryer, but it didn't help that much. The dryer would take up to 90 minutes to dry a few items. The refrigerator's ice maker wasn't working and that also required repair during our stay. In addition, a threshold between the dining room and living room was so loose you could pick up the entire thing. FL Lifestyle sent a repairman but after he repaired it, it did the same thing. There was a lot of dust in the unit, kitchen and bath cabinets were delaminating, refrigerator door was rusting, glass cabinets were fingerprinted, oven was dirty, cooktop was dirty, etc. decorations needed sorely updating; silk plants dirty and worn. the unit certainly had potential to be upscale, but was in need of someTLC. I would recommend this property if these items were taken care of.

Lots of fun! Tropical Storm Colin went through. The condo was very nice. It has three bedrooms and each one is decorated nicely. Beach towels were provided along with a beach umbrella. The pool was very crowed so we were not able to use it . Many families standing around in groups. It seemed like someone's backyard pool party. Sand castle I was quieter and not as rowdy.

Good place to stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Blinds in bedroom with twin beds need replacing. they don't close all the way and lets too much light in. Wood shutters would be nice. Not as clean as expected for the price we pay for the condo.

Middle aged frat boys with unsupervised adolesence children

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 3rd time we stayed at these condos, this time was a nightmare. Arrived at the condo to find dirty hair covered bar of soap left in M/B shower, my son found a dirty drinking glass under his bed. One of the closet doors to the laundry was hanging off, tried to fix it but no tools. A large group of middle aged adults who let their children run wild, skateboarding around the pool and bouncing a ball off the side of the condo under one of our bedroom windows. Apparently rented on condo for themselves and another condo in Sand Castle III for the kids as the kids were running back and forth from condo to condo. They would not rinse off their feet after the beach and would then sit in the hot tub so the hot tub was out of service until the repair man could come and fix it. Elevators didn't work, one gentleman got stuck and had to call his wife for help. Amplified music from condo under us. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation not the place to stay. If you are looking for a place were all the rules are made to be broken go for it.

Thank you for your review. We wish you would have contacted us about your cleaning and repair issues so we could have corrected them immediately for you. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction. This is a fairly large complex and the dates of your visit are prime season for spring break. We would suggest booking in a smaller complex next year or adjusting your dates to come at a quieter time of year. Kids on vacation can be loud and active at any property but you have better chance of quiet at a small complex where multiple families do not book at same time. Great vacation spot and convenient to things.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Condo was clean and was true to pictures on the internet. Had problem with one toilet but it was taken care of immediately. Pool and grounds were very well kept. Dishes, pots and pans were plentiful. Great view from the balcony.

Ideal beachfront location, beautiful wraparound porch views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a wonderful vacation, we loved the location and sitting out on the large porch in the mornings and evenings. The recently updated bathrooms were also very nice (with the exception of the height of the track for the shower door in the master which I scraped my head on, at 6'1", several times before I remembered to duck when stepping out). Everything inside was very nice and clean. One small issue was with the dvd/vcr combo in the living area - I got a Redbox, but it wouldn't play on the DVD player - not sure if it needs a software update or is just broken, but an easy fix and a very minor inconvenience in what was just a perfect vacation week for us with the weather and crowds that weren't bad at all for a holiday week.
