Allegheny Springs Slope Side Penthouse - Amazing Views

This 2 bedroom Allegheny Springs Penthouse unit at Snowshoe may have the most Spectacular views of any place on the mountain. Allegheny Springs is the premiere location at Snowshoe and includes access to heated private pool and hot tub. There is a 24-hr concierge at the front desk to make check in and luggage easy.

This penthouse unit is one of a kind and is located on the slope side of the building with high ceilings, larger square footage (than other 2 bedroom Allegheny units), and has some of the most breathtaking views on the mountain.

Each Bedroom contains two queen beds and an attached en suite bathroom. There is a queen sleeper sofa in the living room as well. In total there are 5 Queen beds in the unit.

There is a full kitchen with cookware, plates and utensils provided. A Keurig Duo coffee maker allows you to brew a single cup or your own ground coffee in a pot.

The unit comes with two ski lockers (you can also store your mountain bikes in the locker room) and the slopes are immediately adjacent to the building. Go for a few runs, pop your skis in the convenient ski locker, relax in the hot tub or heated pool and then hit the slopes again.

Allegheny Springs is the only building on the mountain with a private heated pool exclusively reserved for Allegheny guests.

Snowshoe is also a certified IMBA ride center, with one of the largest trail systems in the East and host to the GNCC off-road racing series & Mercedes-Benz UCI World Cup. Other summer activities include 40+ hiking/biking trails for every skill level, multiple music festivals, horseback riding w/Autumn Breeze Stables, and off-road tours. At the bottom of the mountain, you also have Shavers Lake for water activities and Raven Golf Club for golfing.

We had a wonderful stay! The living room and kitchen areas were bigger than we anticipated so it never felt crowded and was a great gathering area. Beds in the bedrooms were comfortable and fresh towels were plentiful. We had everything we needed to cook, but also had super convenient access to restaurants which had good food. Non skiers could stay in the room by the warm fireplace and look down to watch the skiers in the group. Views of the mountains were gorgeous from every window in the condo! It was also fun to watch the snow mobile tours taking off and see the groomers getting the slopes ready for the day. The pool and hot tubs were a fun apes ski activity. Who can resist being in a bathing suit in the snow? :). It’s less than a minute walk to the fun new play ground in Mountain Lodge and to split rock pools. We didn’t make it over to Split Rock pools because we had fun in the Allegheny pool and hot tubs, but might try that out in the future. We’ll definitely book to stay here again!! We highly recommend this condo!

The location is perfect! Great view, only a few steps to the lifts and village. Space was very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. This is the place to stay at Snowshoe. Highly recommend!!!
