Overall the stay was great. The condo is nice and a bit dated. The amenities are wonderful, the pool and hot tubs are great! It is also walking distance to the bus stop which can get you downtown or to the ski area! There is no ac so it was hot!

Loved the location of this condo. About 10 mins from downtown so it was super easy to get there and back. The pool and hot tubs were amazing, we used them every day. The WiFi is super slow, but overall we had a fantastic stay!

great spot for family

Overall we'd recommend the condo. It had plenty of space for our family (2 adults, 2 kids) and was very comfortable. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with utensils to prepare a small Thanksgiving meal, though one of the bar stools was missing from the small dining table. The location is great; we didn't use it, but the gondola was clearly just a short walk. The heated pool and hot tubs at the lodge were very nice as well. Complaints were minor: the WiFi speed wasn't great, and I would suggest either 1) properly connecting the bedroom TVs so they actually worked or 2) removing them since they're so old. Better yet, replace them with modern smart TVs. Overall we would recommend the condo

Wifi was generally unusable and would not allow playback of movies and general internet searches. Reset the modem a few times and would not improve. Walkways around the building were not in great shape. Location was good and 2nd best to slopeside.

Great location, horrible property management

Clean, great location but when we arrived door code wouldn’t work. After much back and forth someone showed up, also failed to unlock with code and ultimately gave us one key and said they would be back to reset the code. For six nights and 7 days this was never fixed. We had to leave unit unlocked. Same type of issue with the 2nd bath toilet. Same type scenario with the internet.

The Wifi doesn't work, so much so that you can't even watch TV or use your phone on the property what so ever. When I asked about the wifi, I was told to reset the router, but given no instructions on where the router is. The kitchen is extremely bare bones, not even enough glasses for 4 people to drink out of. There's no central place to control the heat, you have to crawl on the dirty carpet to adjust each individual unit. There were no instructions on how to use the gondola (which was not working half the time) or how to access the hot tub. I was told it was in my welcome email, but it was not.

We travel to Steamboat at least once a summer and this was by far the hottest summer rental we’ve ever used. We’re accustomed to Steamboat rentals not having AC but this place has no air flow and could desperately use a window AC unit or ceiling fans or something. Only one of the three keys provided worked to unlock the deadbolt to the unit and the key card to utilize the pool that is across the street in a different complex did not work and that was after I had to call the rental office and wait on hold to find out where the pool was located and how to get into it. There was no welcome note or anything that described this. Thankfully someone just let us in because our kids were really looking forward to utilizing the pool. It does has amazing views of the ski slopes. I’m thinking this place is a much better winter vs. summer rental though you’d have to walk quite a ways to utilize a hot tub. If you’re looking for a summer rental unit I’d pass on this one.

We had a nice stay. The rooms were clean and the balcony was nice as it was private and looked directly at the ski resort. The parking was easy and the location was nice (not busy or loud but not too far away from everything). FYI, this unit is on the third floor with no elevator, but that also provided a great view.

Week long ski vacation at Steamboat

This unit is excellently located near the Wildhorse Gondola, thus giving easy access to Gondola Square without taking shuttles. Plenty of room, mountain views, fully functional & with access to the pool and hot tube at Wildhorse this is a great place to stay.

Perfect location, clean, cozy and perfectly set up. This condo was all we could of asked for. They have all the essentials in the condo, and the building was very quiet. Love the deck, waking up to see the ski resort was amazing!

Location for skiing was phenomenal. The ease of the Wildhorse Gondola to take us the base was perfect - a quick 3 minute walk! Condo was very comfortable, clean, well-stocked. The price was right, too. We will return for sure.

Major problem: Frig didn’t work. Bought a thermometer which showed internal temp of 60 degrees. Had to throw out makings for thanksgiving dinner. Other annoyances: many lock boxes on south side of condo building and the one for this unit not well identified—people who live in building said problem with finding the right box happens repeatedly for daily/weekly renters; day of arrival was cold and heat in unit not turned on—quite cold inside; load of towels left in dryer by someone; dust in kitchen sink; coffee maker broke and kettle for making hot water (our backup approach) was rusty inside. (Local manager did deliver new maker eventually).

It is a good location and loved being able to use the recreational facilities, hot tub and the pool at the Wildhorse. We are a family of 4 and it was ok for sleeping but tight to hang out in. If you are in Steamboat for an active vacation and don't need to spend a lot of time in the condo and don't want to pay a lot, then this could be a good place for you.

Nice condo, needs a few issues fixed

This is a very spacious condo with great set up for larger family. A few issues that need to be addressed. To have a balcony that overlooks the mountains and put zero furniture out there for guests to enjoy was really disappointing. "Head onto the outdoor deck for al fresco dining with a wonderful view of Mt Werner. " was false advertising. I wound up buying lawn chairs so my Mom could sit out and enjoy the view. Also advertised were " community gas grills" which I expected to be outside of building... all we saw were charcoal grills. Maybe they were over by pool but that would have been incredibly inconvenient to make dinner. Finally, it was nearly impossible to use the key to enter the building. You literally had to jiggle it just right (and even then it was difficult). This needs to be fixed. My mother (who is 75) was afraid to go out while I was gone for fear she wouldn't be able to get back in. I might have missed (though have reviewed) but nowhere does it say this is a 3 flight walk up. Again, this is important info. I brought my 75 year old parents to treat them to a nice Steamboat getaway and never would have booked this condo had I known this. We absolutely love Steamboat and visit couple times a summer. This is in good central location and if issues above addressed would make better place to stay. It is BIG condo which is huge plus. We were so busy we never used pool etc. but was also not clear about how to access or if it was the pool way across parking lot in other complex.
