The property itself was a fun eclectic vibe. I would say the listing is accurate, however there were several issues with my stay. It was late and extremely dark outside when I arrived and it was challenging to navigate the stairs and door entry without lighting. I encountered multiple spiders and closet moths in the unit. The chaise lounge chair is dirty and long overdue for cleaning. There are two windows to the unit, and one of them holds the window unit air conditioner. Oddly, there are long heavy drapes that hang in front of the air conditioner and block the cool air flow into the unit, so you have to choose between privacy or AC. Because of this, the room was hot and first night's sleep was poor. On day 2, I folded up the bottom of drape and set it on top of the AC unit which improved the AC performance. There is a washer and dryer in the unit, but they are locked. There were issues with communication as the property management company (Evolve) does not communicate any check in details or other communications in the VRBO app, and I did not have easy access to email on my trip. This created some problems with the entire stay, from check in to check out. Fortunately, Leah left the door unlocked for me and I was able to get in, as the key was not accessible without the code and check in instructions. I asked Evolve to post instructions and replies in the VRBO app, but they proceeded to send the check out instructions via email only, which I found after we had already left.

Absolutely Quaint

Clean, quaint and efficient for a couple. Just what we needed for our visit. Kitchen and batroom were a bit small for our comfort level but our daughter's place in Lambertville had the room for that. Perfect reading nook and would love to use the wood burning stove during the cooler months but parking might get very tricky if that steep & narrow road gets slippery.Overall, we really liked this cute little getaway. What a relaxing stay we had in a quiet, cozy beautiful place. My husband had a chance to meet the owner; she was always available to communicate with if ever we needed her. I would definitely recommend this cozy getaway to anyone.

House on the Hill

I had the amazing opportunity of renting this charming apartment and meeting the lovely owner and host, Leah. The home is located off the main road yet easily accessible to the town of Lambertville and only a stone's throw across the river to the quaint town of New Hope. There are many opportunities for shopping and dining. I included some quiet time to read, journal, relax, and reflect. This property has it all!!

Wonderful!

We had a great time hanging out in your little cottage. The weather was horrible and I was concerned if we would be comfortable if decided to not venture out…turns out we didn’t want to leave! We both read a book snuggled under the covers. Very comfy bed and everything we needed. Leah was great, even stocking the freezer with ice before we got there. We will definitely be back!!!

Great little gem

Booked it for our weekend anniversary trip. It’s quiet and an ultra relaxing place to chill out at after spending all day in Lambertville/New Hope area. It’s sits just outside all the hustle and bustle of town but is still easily walkable to everything. Had a great time, and you will too!

Private getaway with Outdoor activities and Lamberville/New Hope at your door step

I had the pleasure of staying at this delightful private apartment/studio in July. I was not looking to cook much during my 3 night stay. There are many options to eat in Lambertville and New Hope. But I also brought provisions which were accommodated by the fridge, microwave, and electric griddle. If you are looking to cook meals, this may not be the place for you. It was perfectly suited for myself -- a lovely reading nook, outdoor seating to relax and eat, and easily walkable to the paths of the Delaware & Raritan Tow Path. I was looking for a place that was easily accessible to the lovely town of Lambertville/ New Hope, safe, and close to all the wonderful outdoor activities-- hiking, biking and kayaking. All of which i was able to enjoy while staying in this humble abode. Leah, the host, was very accommodating and responsive. Kudos for a wonderful stay!

The Cutest Place!

This is a perfect place for a weekend getaway for a couple, or even one person. Leah was super responsive with any questions. She thought of everything to include in the apartment, even providing fresh-ground organic coffee, several types of teas, and oatmeal packets. My biggest complaint when we stay anywhere is usually the bed not being as comfortable as at home, but that was not the case here! I also appreciated the sound machine that was available. The location was great - a quick walk to town, but very quiet and secluded. I would definitely stay here again!

Cozy Weekend Getaway

We checked in for a weekend getaway and everything was as listed! Room was clean and set up perfectly. Leah texted earlier in the day to make point of contact and to make sure we had a good stay!She lists anything we may of needed in a folder which was so accommodating. Room was exceptionally comfortable and cozy! Our only issue was my husband is 6’2 and the bathroom was a bit snug but i had no issues lol ! It’s walkable to some cute places and a quick 2 min drive to the main strip of lambertville! We would 100% stay again, just what we needed!

The pictures of this charming efficiency are accurate. Leah the owner has decorated beautifully. The bed in comfortable. The scene from the front window is great. Leah checks in with you regarding your check in time and to see if you are ok and/or have any issues. She provides tea, hot chocolate, coffee, filtered water, plates, wine/martini glasses, silverware, towels. It's a quaint room that we surely enjoyed spending time in. We would certainly visit again if it's available.

We enjoyed our stay here on Leah's property. The little apartment looked exactly like the pics. Her decorating style is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. She supplies some amenities like coffee and tea, filtered water, glasses, plates, silverware in case you are eating in. This spot was very cozy. Leah was good at checking in with our arrival and if all was good and/or if we needed anything. We would certainly utilize her space again if it was available.

A wonderful property located perfectly for walking to Lambertville, hiking on the canal trail, or up goat hill for a scenic view. Apartment was well appointed and Leah was easily available if needed.

Quiet and cozy after Christmas

Everything was wonderful. The bottom apartment was cozy and very clean; however, the pictures are deceiving. It appeared much larger on the website however, it was much smaller in person and the bathroom was tiny. My husband and I had a great time. We were able to cross the street and walk along the river walk into both Lambertville and New Hope. Beautiful picturesque towns, great shopping and great restaurants. Loved it. We would definitely return!
