Hi! I'm Joey; I live with my wife Chrystal, daughter Kylee and son Kaleb and we love living in Cotter! We have family roots that run deep in this beautiful area. My great great grandmother was Native American and came to this area by the way of the Trail of Tears. My grandmother was born and raised in Cotter, and my wife's family also has deep roots. Most of her family have been guiding trout fisherman up and down the crystal clear waters of the White River for over 40 years. Cotter truly is a peaceful, gorgeous place that once you visit you will not want to leave. I would love to talk with you and answer any questions you may have.

Why they chose this property

COTTER ROCK COTTAGE ROCKS!
This Historic town and house mean a lot to our family, and we have taken great pride in remodeling the house to make it special. We love living in Cotter, love this house, love sharing it and hope you will love it as much as we do. We hope you come and make many unforgettable memories to cherish as we have.

What makes this property unique

This house and area have many simple yet unique benefits. The house dates back to the early 30's, is stone and has beautiful white stone arches that resemble our Historic. R. M. Ruthven Rainbow Arch Bridge. Photographers and painters have taken the opportunity to using the home as a subject of their art. We have taken many family photos on the front steps as have people passing by. The tree in the front yard is a favorite of the kids and a great photo op for Mom, Dad, Grandparents, family and friends. The front porch is great for morning coffee and relaxing. The White River is just 2 min. away, Cotter Big Spring Park is 2 minute away with many offerings; swimming hole, boat launch, picnic area, playground, and the Anglin-Tinnon Railroad Workers' Memorial. There is a two-mile walking trail that begins at the park and runs upstream along the White River to Denton Ferry, a part of the Trail of Tears. There is also a bike trail, basketball court, volley ball, baseball field, pavilion, caves along the walking trail, and much more. Oh! Let's not forget about the White River. One of the most memorable sites in Cotter is the R. M. Ruthven Rainbow Arch Bridge. Dedicated in 1930, the bridge spans the White River and is on the National Historic Register.
