Welcome to Mermaid Tales #2- Beach Nik. This beautiful 1 bedroom offers a queen bed, ensuite with walk-in shower, also a sleeper sofa in the living room. Calming coastal hues throughout assist in relaxation after a full day in the sun at the beach or around the pool. Curl up at the end of the day on the couch with a good movie. No need to dine out as there is a fully equipped kitchen available, or grab take out and eat around the table. Guests have access to the complex pool, shared washer and dryer, and other complex activities. Come make your favorite memories at Beach Nik.

* If you are traveling with a pet, please call the reservations team with the within 24 hours of placing your reservation. Guests are responsible for paying a non-refundable pet fee for dogs under 30lbs is $200/per pet.*

Mermaid Tales is a multi-family complex that features 6 separate villas. Villas are available to rent separately or as a group. This complex shares a heated pool with a spill over spa, corn hole, and horseshoes are available for added entertainment. There are 12 beach chairs available for guests that are on a “first come, first serve” basis and are not assigned to any specific unit. The short walk to the beach is only 530 yards away. Times Square is less than a mile from the complex. Guests can find entertainment, shopping, and dining all within the Times Square area.

Area Activities:

Welcome to Fort Myers Beach! There are multiple state parks nearby that are waiting for your adventures. Jump on the trolley to take you south to the secluded Lover's Key State Park or go north to Bowditch Point Park. The Fish Tale Marina offers boat rentals and dockage for those wanting to get out on the water. Travel around the island in style in a rented Moke or golf cart. Trolley service is also available from Estero Boulevard to the Times Square area, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. Several restaurants, shops, and bars have come back since the hurricane. If a day trip is what you are looking for check out the Key West Express for an unforgettable trip to Key West. Don’t forget to see Sanibel Lighthouse which is less than 15 miles away! Please note that the area is currently rebuilding after Hurricane Ian. Despite the changes, the island continues to get better and better, inviting you to bask in the sun, sand, and amazing sunsets once again. Everything was great. However the roll out sofa mattress was terrible to sleep on. No blankets were provided for the roll out. Also someone entered the unit to replace some broken blinds in the bedroom while we were out. Without notifying us first. That seemed unusual.

Location was great!! The area is rebuilding after the hurricane but place was clean and lots of great amenities surfboards, beach chairs , pool and yard games. Fun place!!

Was a Dad and 3 year old son trip. Was great little spot. Pool and hot tub were clean and warm. Unit was clean. Interesting and frightening to see the plaque marking the height of Hurricane Ian within the unit.Would stay there again.

Love Mermaid Tales

A gem on the island. Clean, cute, and conveniently located . I love all my stays at Mermaid Tales. All accommodations are well equipped. Great care was taken to include any item anyone could ever need. The pool and backyard are lovely and private, the beach is a short 2 min walk away. Very enjoyable!

Good but animals were an issue

The stay was ok. Location is ideal for the beach. The shower curtain was moldy and there was an empty toilet paper roll under the bed. The other renters had a dog that was really protective and scared my wife not allowing us to utilize the pool/hot tub. BBQ was a nice addition and community washer/dryer. We also took advantage of the the beach chairs and cooler

Close to beach and pet friendly

This is a six-unit building with pool and hot tub in the back yard. There are plenty of sitting for this shared area. Each unit has one bedroom and one bath making ideal for a couple. Please note that the street has several buildings in stages of repair due to Hurricane Ian. There is a pet fee and the amount is based upon your dog's weight. The beach is close by and Times Square was a 15 to 20 minute walk fo us. We would stay here again.

The place was very clean and everyone was very friendly and helpful. However there was no place to hang towels, there is no place to put shampoo (etc.)in the shower. There was no hangers to hang up clothes. I used the rod in the closet to hang up the towels and the rod was not secured and the rod fell. The pool area was dirty unkept. It was a cute pool I just didn’t want to swim in it.

The shower was dangerous, the floor was so sloped it made it difficult to not slip and fall. There were almost no amenities. Three towels for 2 people for a week is very inadequate ! Coffee maker needs replacing. Just disappointing over all.

Convenient Location
