Welcome to LQ148, a truly wonderful completely remodeled villa at Legacy Villas in beautiful sunny La Quinta. As you walk up the bougainvillea clad sidewalk to the front door you feel the warmth of the sun and the beautiful resort surroundings. Once inside, the living area and kitchen are open and inviting to host those great family events you know you want to throw there. The gorgeous, beamed ceiling living room and the two masters have beautiful fireplaces and flat screen televisions for you to enjoy during your stay, along with complimentary wifi. The dining room and bar area has seating for 9 which is perfect for those family get togethers. The master suite offers a King size bed, the second a Queen, while the third bedroom is perfect for the kids with bunk beds and an additional bed for a total of three twin size beds. There is also a stackable washer/dryer located in the hallway for your convenience.
This mountainside community features 9 gorgeous salt-water pools and spas, the state-of-the-art fitness facility, the clubhouse with lounge, meeting rooms, and outdoor fireplaces, hammock garden, a large resort style pool area with beach entry and private cabanas and Legacy Grill. This is a 24/7 guard gated community.

La Quinta City noise ordinance states there is to be no sound amplification permitted outside whatsoever (day or night), and outdoor voices must be kept to a reasonable level or you are at risk of being fined. Fantastic condo!

We have stayed at the legacy villas before and this condo was by far the best one! It is close to the main and quiet pool, no neighbors above you and has 2 private patios to enjoy. Everything was clean as promised and the communication with the rental company was fantastic. I highly recommend this property.

Immaculate unit, easy to communicate with property manager and an easy check-in and check-out process. Not inexpensive, but would recommend to groups of 4 to 6 that are in town for the tennis tournament.

We liked the property, had stayed in the area before so liked the location. The internet service started well but became unusably slow the last couple of days. I don’t think this was the fault of the property but don’t really know.

Cute, spacious condo

I've stayed at Legacy Villas in various condos multiple times. I specifically chose this condo for its bunk beds and large couch since I was coming with a group of friends/family for a long weekend. The condo was perfect - spacious, clean, cutely decorated! The couch was large enough to fit us all piled on. The beds were incredibly comfortable (an unexpected surprise). The kitchen was fully stocked and the condo was close to the front of the gate, main pool and a quiet side pool when you wanted more peace and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and bright

Just perfect. Attending a horse show in Thermal all week. This was a great location to take back roads to Dessert horse park. Had great spaces and well equipped kitchen. Close to Sprouts and Trader Joe’s. Frankly close to everything but extra special was the Legacy Villas grounds and mountain back drop. Grapefruit and orange trees and bubbling fountains. Easy walk next door to La Quinta Resort for coffee and nice dining or walk to Old Town La Quinta for the Sunday farmers market and ice cream. This unit was closer to the main road then I would have liked but very secure and beautiful grounds. Nicely updated flooring and furniture.

Well first of all 1. Difficulty opening door 2. Pillow’s awful 3. Kitchen utensils useless, especially cutting knives 4. TV’s difficult to work instructions not clear. Horrendous noise coming from TV speaker 5. No bath Matt 6. Towels old and ragety 7. Windows very dirty Location was great

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at different villas here and this time it was okay. The rental didn't have any spices. No spatula. The french door windows and screens were dirty. Rental is by the road and picked up trash in the back. Carpet transition to the master needs to be cleaned up. I asked for a late check out and never got a response.

In the future, please give us the opportunity to help you enjoy your vacation to the fullest. We do not provide any food items, spices included, as a safety precaution for our guests. The kitchen should always be stocked with common items like a spatula, and we will make sure a new one is delivered immediately and carpet cleaning is scheduled as well. Unfortunately, since your email requesting a late check out was sent while our office was closed and you did not call the after hours line, we did not see your request until after your departure. We would have loved to give you a late check out to enjoy our beautiful desert a little longer. We hope you will be able to visit again soon!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arriving at this house, we were taken aback by how filthy the walls were. Dirt and grime everywhere. White couch is a poor choice. Could really use a paint job and refresh. The kids room had crumbs on the trundle bed so nobody wanted to sleep there. There was stuff shoved in corners and in the closet. After getting over that, the house was superficially clean and location was good for the pool and proximity to the road. Kitchen was stocked. Appliances worked. Bedding really needs help. Thin blanket and sheets in the master. Needs some TLC.

Exactly as advertised/great location!

Spent 3 nights at this lovely condo for a girlfriend’s birthday weekend. The unit is beautiful, very clean, modernized and well appointed. It couldn’t have been more comfortable for our purposes (and that’s even despite the fact that with 3 adults, one of us drew the short straw and slept in the kids’ room/on a bunk bed! ;). Also, this unit is very professionally managed/hosted as everything was so well organized. We felt lucky that we found this lovely place situated right next to the LA Quinta Resort & Spa. I’ll definitely rent the unit again with family/friends. Thanks for all!

Girl's Weekend

We really enjoyed our stay. The villa is located in the front area of the complex close to the main pool and club house. There is also a quiet lap pool close to the unit. The villa is nicely decorated with up to date furnishings. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need. There are 3 patio areas off the villa that would be nice to relax and enjoy the outdoors. But unfortunately the areas were very dusty and dirty. Besides that it is a lovely place to stay. I would recommend this villa to my friends and will definitely be back with my family.
