Comfortable, quiet place
Great place overall. The main windows let in a lot of sunlight during the day, the internet connection was great, it stayed quiet almost 24/7, has good insulation (didn't need to even turn the AC on most of the time), has a hot-pot and microwave with cookware/dishware - so you can cook pretty much anything you'd need, there's lots of hot water, fresh air in the neighborhood 98% of the time, the big bed is super comfortable, and you can't hear traffic noise.
I just had a few issues I noticed staying there long-term:
- The fridge wasn't aired out properly when bought, so it had a harsh smell. I was there a little over a month and wasn't able to really use it. The host added newspaper/baking soda in it but it didn't help too much within the time I was there (I was able to manage, but hopefully it will be resolved for future guests)
- The bamboo fence separating the main house and the VRBO's backyards is not adequate for keeping in their two small dogs. I tried to sit in the backyard once and one of their dogs forced its way through the fence and jumped on me and nipped my face
- I have memory issues due to a medical condition. Somehow I accidentally gave the address for the VRBO to my doctor and they mailed something there. The host wouldn't release it to me
