Charming spacious cottage with a fun game area perfect for our evening dominoes! Plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable and great location. Our dogs loves the beach! Great hiking nearby. Highly recommend!

The location is magnificent; we thoroughly enjoyed the lake and the view, as well as the very large, well-maintained grounds. It's a very quiet and peaceful place; we were able to relax thoroughly to the sound of the waves. The chalet is comfortable; we had a wonderful stay.

Amazing place - brightly remodeled, and impeccably clean and furnished. Stayed 2 nights with 2 other couples, spent a day in the park then returned here to relax. Can't wait for next year!

Host was helpful and quick to respond. Cottage is clean, and has all the little things you need, with a great games room/sunroom that is bright and has lovely views. Without a doubt the outdoor space surpassed our expectations. Many places to sit, beautiful lake (sunrise!) views, steps down to the lake, and a lovely area for a campfire. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location. The property is very well kept and is fitted with all the necessary amenities. The host was very accessible and prompt. Direct access to the beach was a big plus for kids, they loved it. Would definitely recommend.

Great cottage, Great location, Great host

3 birding couples had a perfect stay at Dean’s Sunrise Bay cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and well kept. The kitchen was completely outfitted and all the beds were comfortable. Communication with the host was seamless. Our group would surely stay again.

Beautiful family getaway

We loved our time at this property. Dean was super communicative the whole time and the cottage was well stocked with essentials. The lake views were incredible. Plenty of outdoor seating to choose from. We enjoyed daily walks on the private beach collecting sea glass and had many campfires listening to the waves. Close enough drive to Point Pelee National Park for some birding and sightseeing. Thanks for a memorable stay!

Our Family Stay July 2025

Sunrise Bay was a fantastic stay for our family. The cottage was amazing, clean , stocked well, The beach was fun for the kids . The games we played were fun and entertaining. We recommend this cottage for people that want a great vacation. Dean the host was amazing and always available to help with anything you had questions on . We were 4 senior women enjoying our high school reunion for the week. We enjoyed seeing a different park ,marsh or winery each day and only enjoyed our final day at the house. We found some “ sea glass” washed up on the beach in front of the house along with a warm lake at the end of September. We enjoyed our coffee watching the sunrise each morning. Would highly recommend and would go back. The second bathroom is actually an ensuite bathroom with access from the master bedroom that has a king size bed in it.Dean had coffee and filters to start us off as well which was lovely and very welcome.

Sunrise Bay is amazing....

This is a beautiful property with picturesque views of Lake Erie. It has 2 beaches and a peer which we toss our lines in around dusk. We caught many large fish. The cottage is very clean and has everything anyone would want. Loved the onsuite, the bumper pool and all the tv's. We made several fires around a well thought out fire pit, but best of all there are no mosquitos there. I never saw one. This is a great place for a rocking family adventure.

Sunrise Bay rental

Beautiful cottage to rent for a relaxing holiday. Cottage offers everything you need, lots of room for family. Dean the host is amazing to deal with. Wonderful Lake Erie views, birdwatching and nature.

Wonderful stay, Dean was super responsive to messages. Perfect spot for our group of 8!! Lots of room to play games, very nice large dining table. Two ways to get to the beach. Amazing deck right on the water

The location and the scenery around this property is breathtaking. There’s so many activities to do and the host was very accommodating to our needs. They had provided all the amenities that were promised and more! We had very comfortable stay and will definitely visit again!!

Excellent Getaway Cottage!

We stayed here for a weekend to get away from the city noise. Excellent quiet area, with an incredible view of Lake Erie. The cottage itself has everything you need and more. Finally, Dean is an excellent host and communicator. 5/5, would recommend.

Nice place

Very clean and comfortable. Lots of indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Better than advertised. Close to some great hiking, biking, kayaking, birding and Geocaching. The birds at the bird feeders are a treat to watch out the large windows.

Great Views and House

Went for the weekend with Mom to go to Point PeeLee to see how it changed since she was last there in the 50s. The cabins she stayed within the park are long gone. Great sunrise and views of migrating birds and monarch butterflies. Lots of room for everyone. Nice location.
