Assateague Inn 102 had a facelift for 2025, and is beachy and beautiful - check it out!

Ahhhhh, Chincoteague Island - the smell of Salt Marsh in the air - the visions of our Wild Ponies wandering through the Refuge. Once you visit our beautiful Island, it stays with you forever. But life is so busy - it's hard to get away for a whole week every year, isn't it? Or maybe you're one who prefers to take many shorter trips over the course of the year - a Weekend Warrior, if you will? If so, the Assateague Inn was made for you. Whether you'd like to visit for 3 nights or 11, we're here to make your time in Paradise as memorable as possible. 

Our Studio Suites have a Private Bedroom with queen size bed, and a separate living room with queen sleeper sofa. There is also a spacious Full Bath, and a Kitchenette fully equipped with cookware and dishes, 2 burner stove top, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster and eating area! Our Studio Suites accommodate up to five guests. Relax in the AC and enjoy Flat Screen Cable TV and Free WiFi after a fun-filled day on the Beach, or slip out to the refreshing Pool to cool off. 

Suite 102 has been beautifully updated with lovely laminate flooring, fresh paint, new bedding, and more.

The Inn is located directly on the Creek, and is a great spot for Crabbing, or simply taking in the Herons and Egrets fishing for their morning meals. Located just off of Maddox Boulevard, you're only a short bike or car ride from Mini Golf, Dining, and of course, Assateague National Seashore! When you're not enjoying playing on the waterfront, relax on the huge landscaped greens with plenty of Picnic Tables and Barbecue Stations to cook up the Fresh Catch of the Day.

Great little condo

The condo was a perfect weekend getaway. Newly renovated and close to the beach. Great location in town. The property managers were all so helpful and had great communication from the very start. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location

Perfect location, unit was exactly as listed, very clean, had the essentials. We very much enjoyed our stay and the ease of checking in and out was the cherry on top.

Good Little Place

It was small but that's all we needed. Had all the essentials like little kitchen and two big beds for two couples. Had some ants whenever we were using the kitchen but other than that it was just what we needed and for a decent price.

This property was in a great location very close to Maddox blvd which will take you to Assateague or to Main Street. It was quiet and had beautiful views of the sunrise. While the kitchen had plenty of dishes and pots and pans, we have to cook because of dietary restrictions so I wish there had been a cutting board and measuring cups/spoons as well. I appreciated the hands off check-in/check-out process. Staff communicated via text and email and were available if we needed to get in touch, though we didn’t. We would stay here again.

May getaway

The apartment/condo was nice as pictured. It did have sufficient basic kitchen ware for preparing & eating meals. But if you have an item you like to use I would suggest bringing it with you (I.e.spatula, tumbler cup). The bed was comfortable & the neighborhood quiet. So it was easy to relax.

Excellent location

The location is excellent. Walking distance to amusement parks, mini-golf, food trucks, souvenir shops and bike rentals. Good location for Pony Swim activities. Nice view of the marsh from the pier/dock. Would have been nice if the grasses in front of the unit had been cut. Pool was good. Unit could use a little updating, as well as the pool and the picnic tables on the pier should be replaced; they are falling apart and covered with mold, but other than that, no complaints

Dirty and poor customer service.

Floors were never swept or mopped. All the dishes etc were dirty. Cabinet handles greasy. Table wasn’t wiped down. Light bulb missing in bedroom. I called when we got there on a Thursday. They said they would call back. I asked if they would leave a lightbulb on the chair outside. Called midday Friday received same answer. Called when we checked out today. Oh I see your request I’m so sorry. I will talk to mgmt and call you back. That was 5 hours ago.

Joanne, called after hours - it was not an emergency, and you did receive a call back first thing in the morning, and we explained to you that it was a specialty lightbulb not available on the island, and that we were working on it. The room was professionally cleaned and inspected. You wanted a refund due to a lightbulb and not liking the suite, and threatened this very review if you didn't get a refund. We did not, and will not, be issuing you a refund. Thank you.
