This property was perfect for our annual end of summer vacation- they had everything we needed for 3 families with children ages 2 months to 5 years!

Family Getaway for July 4th

Family of 10 had an amazing time at this lovely home on Lake Livingston. Rented 4 kayaks and bought some huge floats and floated in the lake for 4 days straight! Host was wonderful - would definitely go back!

Perfect spot for families with kids

We LOVED our stay at this property and can’t wait to go back. It’s extremely kid-friendly, with tons of toys both inside and outside and lots of kid and baby amenities. We have a 4 year old and 2 year old and both loved it, but there was plenty for babies and older kids as well. The outside space is wonderful, and there’s a marina just a 2 minute drive away if you want to put a boat I. We can’t recommend this place enough!

Family Meetup

It was wonderful. Loved the game room
.where we played Spinner, Poker, Euchre and Mancala. The dock was great for reading, sitting and talking, fishing and watching birds and boats. The kitchen served us well, the beds were comfortable, and the owner was prompt and so helpful when I contacted her with a couple questions. We hope to return in the future.

Livingston trip

We were under a boil water notice. I had to text the owner or manager about that to be sure. They didn’t know so we had to go out and buy more water to be able to cook with it. The place itself was ok. There were definite areas that the house needed repairs as some tiles were loose on the floor. The ladder on the boat house was broken and couldn’t be used. The AC had to stay at 72 and for East Texas during the day that was on the warm side. The view of the lake was very nice and that made up for some of the other issues. It was nice that we could bring our boat to the house and tie it up. Overall it was ok.
