LA RUCHE ET L OLIVIER Charming cottage between sea and mountain

In a traditional and authentic rural setting, a new cozy and quiet T1bis apartment, very comfortable, with terrace overlooking the village and the valley.
With an independent entrance the gite is on the 1st floor, it is composed of an independent bedroom, a living room with kitchen and a bathroom wc, and a terrace with view on the village and the valley.

Between the sea and the mountains, the cottage is located on an organic olive farm: we produce olive oil in the family mill and olive paste.
We have hives and produce honey, pollen and gingerbread and in the summer we make jams.

We are on the Saleya market in Nice every Sunday morning and we deliver 2 Amap from Nice.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Beautiful welcoming hosts

We had a fabulous week made even more special by the owners of the farm and property. Home grown fruit and veg. A basket of food as on Sunday's most food markets are closed. Welcoming but also given total privacy. Thank you.

Our stay at cottage on the mountain was fantastic , clean and cosy with everything you need supplied. Our hosts Christiane and Lucien are lovely people who are so kind and generous. They gave our family a tour of the farm showing the workings of the oil farm it was so interesting. Also kindly gave us a gift of oil and honey produced on the farm, as well as a speciality tart freshly made. After enquiring to Christiane about the eggs her chicken produced, she kindly left fresh eggs at the door for us the next day. Could not of asked for a better place or hosts. Thank you.

Christiane and Lucien are very lovely hosts.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Christiane and Lucien are perfect hosts. They were kind enough to meet us at the airport. They helped us navigate the process of getting from one terminal to another to collect our rental car. The property itself is very peaceful and is perfect if one wants to rest and unwind. If you are a hiker, the surrounding countryside is beautiful. I would say that a small car is an absolute necessity. There is a train station in Drap-Cantaron that will take one to the central station in Nice from where you can connect to everywhere along the Cote de Azure. However you would still require a car to get to Drap-Cantaron. The train schedule is great and the trains are clean and quiet. All in all I would highly recommend this property.

Nous avons passé quelques jours chez Christiane et Lucien qui sont des hôtes très accueillants et gentils et avec qui nous eu des échanges très agréables . Nous avons passé de très belles vacances et avons été très bien accueillis lors de notre arrivée ! Le gîte est très sympa. Nous avons aimé l'impression d'etre au milieu de "nulle part". Les propriétaires sont toujours à l'écoute pour rendre le séjour le plus agréable possible.
