Charming 3*** gîte in an exceptional green setting

In Sospel, 15 km from MENTON, GITE DE CHARME CLASSE 3 stars 2 minutes by car from the village (15 minutes by foot via a pretty path): The gîte was completely renovated in 2018. The three-star classification was awarded in November 2018 by professionals from the Tourist Office; it guarantees comfort and equipment criteria. The gîte is reserved for rental: you will not find the owners' personal effects there and you will have plenty of storage space at your disposal.
SOSPEL, a pretty dynamic medieval village nestled between the sea and the mountains, is the ideal place to ask yourself if you wish to alternate between visits to the coast (Menton, Monaco, the Italian Riviera ...) and sports or outdoor activities (MERCANTOUR hikes, biking, paragliding, horse riding ...).

Gîtes "LE BRIN DE PAILLE": In a 1.5 hectare natural space, bordering forests, orchards and pastures, with a 360 ° view of the surrounding mountains, the gites are located in an old renovated stone farmhouse , in a green and relaxing setting. Our property is an LPO (League for the Protection of Birds) refuge. We belong to a regional association which defends sustainable tourism.

The gîte "LA BERGERIE" is located on the ground floor of the building (separate entrance). It is suitable for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 young children.
Completely renovated in 2018, it is set up in a beautiful vaulted room that keeps it cool in summer: It is composed of a large living room with a kitchenette, a dining room and a lounge area with BZ type sofa (sleeping in 120) TV and WIFI.
Cocooning atmosphere, with wooden furniture.
A sleeping area with a French window is fitted in the entrance with a wardrobe and storage (comfort bed in 140).

Cot and high chair on request at no extra charge.
Table and chairs for your meals outside, in front of your entrance
Laundry room with washing machine and iron shared by two gîtes
The cottage is equipped with heat pump heating, ensuring comfort during the cooler seasons.

A wonderful 5 days of peace and contemplation.

If you are looking for peace and tranquillity then this is the place for you. A tastefully decorated little cottage with all amenities. Corinne and Jean-Phillipe the owners were very friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home in their property. I would highly recommend this listing for a getaway and a chance to visit the local village Sospel is a must.

Le gite que l'on croyait au niveau du terrain haut sur la photo était en fait dessous avec l'entrée côté et sans vue sur le paysage et avec très peu d'ensoleillement. Accès au gîte tres difficile, pentu avec des feuilles et de la mousse, étroit avec des branchages non coupés correctement sur les côtés Pendant 4 jours nous n'avons pas pu accéder en voiture car la pluie avait rendu la pente glissante car non nettoyée L'accès entre le véhicule et le gite était une pelouse haute qui n'a été tondue que trois jours après notre arrivée Devant l'accès au gîte il y a un ponceau très délabré qui peut être dangereux.Les étagères etaient poussiéreuses; nos vetements sont restés dans nos valises.Il faudrait aussi changer le balai qui est un peu déplumé

Nature Au Calme

Le gite est situé en bordure de forêt, on habite avec les animaux, il y a aussi un joli sentier d'environ 1,5km pour rejoindre le centre de Sospel. Cette location est ideale pour rester au frais l'été. bien qu'au sous sol la lumière est suffisante et l'agencement bien pensé. Merci aux sympathiques gérants de ce havre de paix

Klein maar fijn! (small but nice!)

Key word is knus! Schoon, prima onderhouden appartement. Klein en als je heel lang bent, is douchen wat ingewikkeld. De keuken heeft alles wat je nodig hebt als je een simpele maaltijd wilt bereiden. Door de 2 pits elektrische kookplaat is het echter niet mogelijk uitgebreid te koken. Niet erg, ga naar het dorp, prima tentjes om te eten. Prima verblijf gehad!
