Discover Cloudcroft House, an enchanting historic estate on the banks of the Colo River that delivers unparalleled serenity and privacy. Relax under the shade of fruit trees or say hello to our friendly sheep who call the estate home. Perfect for large groups, families, and pet-owners, our estate offers a variety of activities designed to satisfy your every need.

Set on 24 private acres, you'll have total privacy and plenty of space for activities. A shared boat ramp just 50 meters from the front gate allows you to launch a small boat, a public boat ramp only 5 min away for larger boats, or you can borrow one of our kayaks to explore the gorgeous Colo River.

The whole property is yours to explore. There is plenty of space to park a boat trailer near the water, and awesome kids play equipment out the side of the house.

Please note: there is no mooring or pontoon for boats. External cameras are used for security purposes only. The riverside BBQ/sink area is currently non functioning due to flood damage however there is a family size Webber BBQ at the house for your use.

NEWLY ADDED: Heated 11m pool (please note a heated pool is never hot as it is set to a maximum of 27 degrees)

Cloudcroft House was a great venue for our large Christmas gathering. The children had fun playing on the equipment and we all spent a lot of time in the pool. The accommodation was comfortable and plenty of room for all of us.

Lovely location along the remote Colo River, though the property riverfront is separated by a road and over 100m from the house making access for some difficult. The cleanliness of the property could have been better but on the whole was a pleasant stay.

Weekend away

Booked this house for a weekend away with some friends and it was a great little spot! Pool is a great addition and very relaxing atmosphere. River is beautiful but a giant walk down/up the hill and there’s a space to bbq and a fire down there too. There were some small issues with bed arrangements and keys But they were resolved immediately by the host and their lovely cleaner. Pretty isolated from everything so bring all you need for your stay for max relaxation.

Well stocked and immaculately presented home

It was a great pleasure to be the first visitors at Cloudcroft House. The host was very responsive over Christmas weekend and helpful with all queries. The home is very clean and the kitchen well equipped for cooking for and feeding large groups, which was especially helpful as we were staying over the Christmas weekend. The only thing I would mention is the oven space, which is a little smaller than a typical oven - there is, however, lots of space for fan-forced/grilling. There are a few things around the house which needs some fixing up, but they were quite minor. I note there is also a second shower available for use, but no blinds for the windows in that bathroom. That was ok for us though, as we booked the house with the understanding there would only be the one shower. One main thing that was a little concerning was the neighbouring dogs. When we left the bounds of the front yard and crossed to the riverside area of the property, there was some growling from the dogs, who run freely and regularly crossed over to where we were. Their owner was not too far off though and all turned out ok. But we didn't let our dogs out of the house for the majority of our stay.
