About the home
“Salt Breeze” is a delightful single-storey family home with an electric heated 6 seater spa in Cowes just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of Cowes. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
The front of the home opens into a central hallway that provides access to Bedroom 1, featuring a smart TV, WIR and ensuite (with shower & separate toilet). There is also internal access to the double Garage. The 2nd Living room (with smart TV) provides flexibility, and lead to Bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 (each with BIR), a Bathroom (with shower & bath) and a separate Toilet. The large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living Room (with smart TV) flows through to the rear Alfresco and the Laundry (with washing machine) which also has access to the rear yard.
Outdoor Areas
The fully covered rear entertaining Alfresco (with gas BBQ and 8-10 seater table) overlooks the fully enclosed rear yard which is perfect for children and includes a fully enclosed heated 6-seater spa. There is parking for 2 cars in the Double Garage (with pool table, table tennis table, bar table & stools, internal access to the home and also the rear yard) plus space for another vehicle (car &/or a boat) in the driveway. There is a shed (3x2m) in the back yard what is also available for guests to use. The fantastic Seagrove Park is just 100m away with a huge playground and space for ball games.
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine with frother, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, 900mm electric oven and 5-burner gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There is a wall mounted reverse cycle air conditioner in the Kitchen/Dining/Living Room.
Bedding Configuration
This home has 9 beds, and 1 sofa bed, accommodating up to 13 guests:
Bedroom 1: One King bed
Bedroom 2: One set of Single bunks and one Single Trundle bed
Bedroom 3: Two sets of Single bunks
Bedroom 4: One Queen bed
There is also a Queen sofa bed in the 2nd Living room, suitable for 2 adults or children
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties, or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies, irrespective of whether school-leavers are part of the official Schoolies Program. All bookings are subject to approval, pending Guest verification process. Local council restrictions are in place for this property, and compliance is mandatory.
