Excellent beachfront condo

Everything about this property was as advertised or better. It was beautiful, very well furnished with great beds and furniture, and as easy to the beach as any property we've stayed in.

Everything was great. Only minor complaint is that Benchmark could have been more helpful when we inquired about where to park a golf cart. They knew that the complex was less than 1/2 occupied & there were plenty of open parking places plus guest spots. Instead they told us to park on street or pay at a facility.

Girls seaside trip

Absolutely loved the location and condo! Beautiful and my girlfriends and I truly enjoyed our time there. A lot of great restaurants to pick from and the beach was phenomenal. Very thankful we had access to chairs & umbrellas. We will be back! 💗

The facility is amazing with only 8 total units, covered parking for 2 cars per unit, a great elevator that was clean and functional, luggage carts available for move-in, and even a trash chute for easy garbage disposal. This unit is on the top floor and has a penthouse feel with amazing views of the ocean and sealife. The pool was clean. Access to the beach was simple. The AC worked wonderfully and was a blast of refreshment each time we came in from the heat. The patio is the star, but the living room, breakfast area and kitchen were perfect. I'd LOVE to own this place. Everything worked and was great.

The kitchen is very well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and containers for at home cooking. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. They had some games and puzzles there for entertainment. A nice washer and dryer for laundry.The daily view of the ocean was incredible. The balcony was very lovely and had a great view of the pool. Staying right on the beach was really fun and ideal with young kids. The beach was crowded but not too bad. The location was nice, not too busy but lively and close to things ( we got a golf cart). We didnt hear any of our neighbors.Everything was as described and we had a blast!

WOW WHAT A CONDO

This is hands down the best condo I have rented in the 32 years of going down to the beaches of 30A. I have already booked it for next year. I am the only person staying in the condo, so three bedrooms are a bit overkill. But that’s OK; it makes the condo seem much bigger.The condo is huge, has upscale everything, and is nicely decorated (it does not have the sickly pink and aqua color scheme). A nice touch is the weighted comforters. The weather was pretty good; it only rained on one date. The water was as clear and clean as I have seen it – no sea feed or other matter.You can walk to Seaside and Café Thirty-A.

Amazing week at Grand Playa

The condo is spacious, clean and plenty roomy for four adults. Kitchen was as well stocked as I've seen on 30A. The porch and chairs were amazing. We spent hours out there. The pool wasn't clean when we arrived but Benchmark worked their butts off to get it cleaned for us. We've been coming to Seagrove (and Grayton) for nearly 30 years and this was one of the best homes we've stayed in. Easy walk to the beach and best of all, so quiet. We would rent again in a heartbeat.

Spring Break 2022

The condo was very nice. Conveniently located only 1 mile east from Seaside. Bike rentals right across the street at Butterfly’s. Wonderful restaurants within walking distance. We also rented a golf cart through Vacayzen. Only negative there are no beach chairs or umbrellas provided by the condo unit, but you can rent them for the day or week. Overall had a wonderful vacation.

The rental gear credit was a nice amenity but we would have preferred to have the credit applied to beach service for set up. Hauling our chairs up and down each day was inconvenient requiring one of us to go down by 6:00 a.m. to secure a spot near the water. The second negative was the size and location of the grill. It was tiny, making it difficult to grill for 6 people. Plus, the sprinkler system went on while my husband was grilling (during the dinner hour) with the spray soaking him.

On The Emerald Coast again!

The furnishings are lovely, the kitchen extremely well stocked for cooking and the family room comfortable for the entire family to gather to an evening movie. The balcony was comfortably furnished for sun rise, sunset & ocean viewing. The pool was a perfect cooling off option from the beach and late afternoon swims. This condo was very family friendly. We had 3 grandchildren ranging from 3 to 13. Everyone was very happy. We did experience a few unexpected difficulties. Our check-in was mixed up due to the corporate consolidation of Garrett & Benchmark Realities. I’m confident that will not happen again. Once we were in, we discovered a bag of ice in the freezer because the ice maker did not work. Not a disaster but an inconvenience. On our third day, a leak was discovered in the kitchen plumbing. A pot had been placed under the sink. We were unaware. It overflowed causing a bit of panic. We called the evening emergency number and the plumber was at our door early the next morning. All correctly repaired. Again, not a disaster but an inconvenience. Lastly, we will be interested in the condition of the beach. It is lovely but appears to be diminished by the surf surge. We hope that it will be able to be reclaimed. All that to say, we have questions to ask before engaging ANY rental. We will definitely return if the integrity of the beach can be retained.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gran Playa 401 is a beautiful home away from home. The furnishings are lovely, the kitchen extremely well stocked for cooking and the family room comfortable for the entire family to gather to an evening movie. The balcony was comfortably furnished for sun rise, sunset & ocean viewing. The pool was a perfect cooling off option from the beach and late afternoon swims. This condo was very family friendly. We had 3 grandchildren ranging from 3 to 13. Everyone was very happy. We did experience a few unexpected difficulties. Our check-in was mixed up due to the corporate consolidation of Garrett & Benchmark Realities. I’m confident that will not happen again. Once we were in, we discovered a bag of ice in the freezer because the ice maker did not work. Not a disaster but an inconvenience. On our third day, a leak was discovered in the kitchen plumbing. A pot had been placed under the sink. We were unaware. It overflowed causing a bit of panic. We called the evening emergency number and the plumber was at our door early the next morning. All correctly repaired. Again, not a disaster but an inconvenience. Lastly, we will be interested in the condition of the beach. It is lovely but appears to be diminished by the surf surge. We hope that it will be able to be reclaimed. All that to say, we have questions to ask before engaging ANY rental. We will definitely return if the integrity of the beach can be retained.
