Location, Location, Location ... you will not find a better location inside the Mission Hills Country Club. This gated community is the premier location in Rancho Mirage. Mission Hills Country Club is centrally located where you can be in downtown Palm Springs, The River or El Paseo within 15 minutes to enjoy great shops, restaurants and art galleries. Other conveniences like Costco, Walmart, Casino (Agua Caliente), Lowes and Home Depot are within 10 minutes of this location. This is where this street location trumps the other properties in Mission Hills ... Don't feel like getting into your car? Well then you can walk across the fairway to eat at the Westin Mission Hills restaurants for breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack or maybe just a cocktail. There is also a Starbucks open from 6:00am to 11:00pm ... so how can you beat that?
This property is located at the end of a cul-de-sac so you will not have any drive by traffic. It has a beautiful green belt in the front yard which feels like your own private park. The backyard has a breathtaking view of the golf course and the mountains as a backdrop. Located on the Pete Dye course, hole #14 which is the Westin's flagship hole! Soak in the beautiful remolded infinity edge pool and take in the view.
There is a round table outside one of the bedrooms that sits four in the side yard (one of the pictures). In the backyard there is 4 lounge chairs and another round table that sits four. There is a built in BBQ area in the backyard that is hooked up directly to the gas line. No dealing with empty gas tanks!
This 3 bedroom 3.5 bath 3100 hundred square foot house that sleeps 8 has never been offered to the public until now and this property has been completely remolded. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so enjoy the pictures.
Other features ... Wet Bar, Wine Refrigerator, Keurig Coffee Maker, Fireplaces, Jacuzzi, Private Pool, WiFi, Direct TV, Garage, Golf Cart Garage, Storage lockers and a couch near the dinning room that folds out to a queen size bed to accommodate 8 if needed. And let's not forget about the New Salt water pool system!
During the High Season I do have a 4 month minimum (Dec 1st thru March 31st) each season. Once that reservation has been booked then I book the shorter stays around that reservation. I take a "Refundable" utility deposit on all my booking for gas & electric. This helps my guest to be mindful. I do have an allotment for each stay that I pay for and any overages is paid by the guest.

My wife and I were born and raised in Southern California in Redondo Beach. I have been coming to Palm Springs as long as I can remember and I love the feeling once you arrive here. We have a 12 year old son that has been coming with us to Rancho Mirage since he was born. We don't come as often due to my son being involved with school, soccer and tennis.
Why they chose this property
I bought this property to be near a resort so it feels like you are always on vacation. There are only two resorts that have custom homes that share the hotel and golf course. The Westin and the Marriott. The Westin has more of a family vibe and I love the cul-de-sac street that we live on with a large green belt out front that feel like a private park. My son and I kick the soccer ball around in the park or play catch. It is very rare that anyone is using the green belt. Being in a cul-de-sac we rarely see cars drive by our property which is great for my son to ride his bike out front. It is very quite and peaceful. If there was a better location we would buy there but we have never seen anything even close to what this property offers.
What makes this property unique
By far it is the specular location.
We are located in a loop street and we are at the end of the loop street (Cul-de-sac). There are only 8 homes that face the Westin and only three of them have the best view. This is one of those three. We are far enough away from the Westin where we don't hear anything but close enough to see it and walk to the restaurant or bars outside and inside the hotel. I enjoy sitting in the backyard and watching the Westin guests walking back and forth, riding their bikes or walking their dogs. I find that relaxing and it makes you feel like you are on vacation.
Any house you can upgrade and add certain amenities but you can't move locations. Until you experience it then you will know exactly what I am talking about. 90 percent of my bookings are by returning customers which should tell you a lot about this property.
