Millside Cottage - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

Thank you for taking the time to share your 5 star review. We're delighted you enjoyed your stay in Braithwaite and made the most of the fantastic fell walks right from the doorstep - Barrow is one of our favourites[Emoji Removed]. We couldn't agree more about the village shop too, it's a real gem, and those cakes are certainly hard to resist! It's great to hear the cottage had everything you needed. Thank you for your feedback on the logs, we have never had any issues reported with these in the past so we are very sorry that you did??. We wish you had let us know during your stay as we would of happily dropped some more off for you. And yes, the EV charger is a welcome addition for guests looking to explore the Lakes a little more sustainably! We hope to welcome you back for more adventures, cakes, and fell walks soon.

Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review. It’s always a pleasure to welcome you back to Millside, and we’re delighted to hear it still feels like a home from home each time you arrive — that really is the best compliment we could receive. We’re so pleased you continue to find the cottage warm, comfortable, and well equipped, and that the on?site parking and enclosed garden work so well for you, especially when bringing your dog. It’s great to hear you enjoy the location in Braithwaite too — perfectly placed for exploring the northern Lakes, whether on foot or by bus. Travelling around from Keswick really is a wonderful way to take in the scenery. Thank you again for your continued loyalty, and we very much look forward to welcoming you back again. Hi there! Thank you so much for your lovely review — and for choosing to return to Millside Cottage so many times. It really does mean a great deal to us when guests come back again and again, and we're delighted to hear it remains one of your favourites. It’s wonderful to know you continue to find the cottage homely, comfortable, and well equipped, and we're pleased the upgraded shower was a welcome improvement. Thank you as well for your helpful feedback regarding the wood burner. That's a very practical observation, and one that someone with experience of using a fire at home is particularly well placed to make. We can certainly see how having a companion set, or at the very least a poker, would make it easier to safely adjust logs and get the most from the stove. We'll be sure to pass this suggestion on to the owner for consideration. Thank you again for your continued support and for taking the time to share your feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back to Millside Cottage again soon. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages

Hi there! Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review. We’re delighted to hear you had such an enjoyable two-week stay at Millside Cottage. It’s great to know that Braithwaite proved to be such an excellent base for exploring the North Western Lakes, especially during the busy summer season. The village really does offer the perfect balance of peace and convenience, with easy access to so many fantastic walks and attractions. We’re pleased the parking worked well for your vehicles and that you found the cottage comfortable, well equipped, and welcoming throughout your stay. It’s lovely to hear the shower, bedrooms, and sun room all got a mention, and we can easily picture how enjoyable it must have been to relax in the patio garden with a well-earned cuppa after a day on the fells. We're especially pleased that the garden worked so well for your spaniel too. [Emoji Removed] The location is certainly one of Millside Cottage’s biggest strengths. Having the village shop just a few steps away and two excellent pubs within easy walking distance makes it hard to beat, and it sounds as though you really made the most of everything Braithwaite and the surrounding area have to offer. Thank you again for your kind words. We’re so pleased you had such a fantastic stay and would be delighted to welcome you back to Millside Cottage in the future. Best wishes, Keswick Cottages
