This 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom home is a great place to spend a relaxing week away. Balboa Island has so much to offer. Fine dining and wonderful little shops, this little niche in Newport Beach is a great place to enjoy with your family.

15 minute drive to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and the Irvine Spectrum. Steps away from the Ferry, Fun Zone and many restaurants.

A great place to bring your family in the summer or during the holidays.

Spring get away

We have relatives in Corona del mar so perfectly located to visit with family, ride our bikes across the ferry to New Port beach, Huntington beach and over to Crystal Cove! Love having access to the garage to safely keep our bikes. This is our second stay and we hope to be back soon!

Great property, would rent again. Request hand soaps at all sinks (2 had none) and at least a few boxes of Kleenex , property had none. Love Balboa!

Saved the day

We loved staying at this home! We had another home that didn’t work out and the owner of this property accommodated us on very short notice. The home was wonderful inside and out! The neighbors were friendly, the front porch had heaters and was so comfortable, toys for the kids and a great tree lined street! We will stay here again!

Great Potential but Not Great Currently!

Dec. 2023, 8 night stay. This home is in a wonderful location on Balboa Island & it was perfect for walking around to see the lights & enjoy the incredible Christmas decorations! BUT, this home needs some major TLC, a thorough & deep cleaning in addition to some repairs & updates for future renters. -Cleanliness: Refrigerator in kitchen has visible black mold in both door seals. The washer smelled moldy & was wet inside upon arrival-we bleached it ourselves. The air filter near the washer/dryer area & the return vent in the hall were both solid black & fuzzy, totally covered in black dust! Guest bath walls filthy! Tupperware container left under the bed & multiple candy wrappers under the bunk beds. The main couch downstairs needs cleaning at minimum & possibly needs replacing. A deep cleaning is absolutely needed in this home! -Functionality: The gas stove has 6 burners; the igniters on 3 of the burners continued to “click” even when turned off. We had to take one of the burners apart to get it to stop. We notified Jimmy (the owner) & he stated, “he’s been aware of this for about 6 months but it couldn’t be repaired & he didn’t want to replace the stove”. Hmmm??? Multiple lights were out throughout the house. Jimmy came & replaced some of them but stated he couldn’t replace others because he didn’t have a ladder with him. Water pressure in the master shower & guest shower/sink very low. Need fan in the master shower so the walls don’t drip water from humidity.
