Another successful MDI vacation

The property was amazing. The cleanliness the privacy stargazing after 9 PM was fabulous the dock swimming boats, loons eagles we will definitely be lodging there again.

Cozy Cabin Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Vinces Cottage. It was quiet, scenic and had all the comforts we needed. The view of the lake was relaxing and with a fire in the woodstove I didn't want to leave the place.

Fantastic location

The waterside access to Seal Cove Pond is lovely. The pond was nearly completely free of people and we enjoyed canoeing, kayaking and swimming off the private dock and raft. No car noise whatsoever at all hours of the day and night and great bird watching on the water looking across to Acadia National Park on the opposite side of the pond. MDI Real Estate rep was very responsive to the few questions that we had, but the descriptions and instructions after booking were extremely clear so we did not need very much further contact. Peaceful, idyllic and a great rental experience!!

seal cove pond cabin

We loved the quiet location of the house. Close enough to Southwest Harbor and hiking trails, but off the main drag. The furnishings were tasteful and the house was uncluttered and was clean, yet had many amenities such as books, games, cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, etc stored in their proper places. The master bedroom bed was very comfortable! We loved the dock and pond, but sadly it was too cold and windy to swim. Our only issue is that the house had a musty odor from the dampness of being close to the pond. seeing the golden sunrise on the pond more than made up for that!

Clean, beautiful view

My parents and I spent the week at this property and thoroughly enjoyed it. The lake out back, screened porch, and overall cabin vibes were lovely. Wifi wasn't blazing fast but I was able to attend video work meetings with only small hiccups.

Stay in log cabin

The description of the property is accurate. The property management and caretaker is top notch. The view from the deck and screened in porch is the high point of the property. It's a log cabin so a bit rustic but has all the amenities. Property was nicely clean. Location is about 20 minutes from southwest harbor. It is quiet and remote.
