Such a beautiful property. Minutes from Acadia National Park, which was the reason for our visit. Plenty of space if you have multiple people. Just a beautiful and quiet area. If we are ever back in the area, we will stay here again.
We had a great stay! James was very friendly and knowledgable. The best part of the stay was the access to Long Pond and the kayaks, which was our main reason for booking this property. The location can't be beat also! On the quiet side of the island, yet so close to Bar Harbor and Acadia.
The host is so nice to give us the postcards and handmade candles. The book of the tips, point of interesrs and restaurants recommendation are very helpful. We loved the certificate for the Cadillac Summit Road provided by the host is very thoughtful.
This was my wife and my first Vrbo experience. The hosts were extremely friendly and the apartment was everything we could have wanted.JF and Sue provided us with many suggestions as to what to see on Mt. Desert island and these suggestions became a large part of our itinerary. We will treasure the memories and would strongly recommend booking this apartment.
Housing was just as pictured and described, and it was awesome to not be in the crowded Bar Harbor scene. JF and Sue were fantastic hosts and went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect. Would definitely recommend.
Hosts were very accommodating with our late arrival due to travel headaches. Very helpful with allowing us to maximize our time in the area (great recommendations for hikes, food, sites to see). Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous location and hosts. the apartment has a cabin f
We had a great time staying at JF and Sue’s place! Such a serene location and well stocked with maps and guides for our time in Acadia. JF spent some lovely time with us showing around the property, telling us about the area, and teaching us how a lobster trap works! Would absolutely recommend again.

Really lovely place. Clean and quiet. Hosts are lovely and took me and my daughter on a walking tour of the (beautiful) property. Property is gorgeous and has so many little areas to explore. Centrally located for everything you'd want to do in the area. Loved it. Would stay again.
We were able to enjoy the property, kayaks and explore the area! We enjoyed the location, bedrooms and used the grill. The hosts even got out some age appropriate toys for our kids to enjoy and showed them how to make a bird feeder!
The hosts were wonderful and helpful. The space was clean and well stocked with anything and everything my group needed. It was in a perfect location for a wonderful price. I would recommend visiting Bar Harbor/Mount Desert/Acadia to anyone and everyone I know.
We have had an absolutely amazing stay at JF and Sue’s place. The location was excellent and was close to everything necessary. All the attractions were closer and can get there without fighting the traffic from Ellsworth.Checkin process was easy and the property was very calm and peaceful with plenty of things to do for children. My kid loved playing with Brandy and spotting Deer everyday.JF and Sue were so kind, inviting and they went over and beyond to make our stay with toddler awesome. My daughter even keeps asking about them nearly a month later.
J.F. and his wife are amazing hosts that went out of their way to be helpful. There was an extra loft bed in the single queen room, which was a nice surprise. It made it so i did not have to share a bed with my brother. His suggestion to go to Schooner Outlook was awesome. Best sunrise I have seen.
This is a great property for a family. The owners are fantastic and give you lots of information on local attractions and restaurants and even gave us some candles as a gift. We had a wonderful stay.
This was a great place for us to stay for our visit to Acadia. The place was clean and cozy, and the hosts are absolutely wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to visit northern Maine.
Perfect place for families who want the quieter side of the island but still want to explore Acadia. Owners are very friendly.
