Pet ok with approval first. Bright and airy cottage sleeps max 5 (2 BR - 1Q, 2T) plus single pull out sofa bed in hi living room. A block by footpath from Ridgevale Beach. Linens included. No pets permitted. Classic beach cottage with original pine interior, now bright and freshly painted with updated modern conveniences (including a/c, WiFi, washer, dryer, dishwasher, smart TVs with cable). Water views and beautiful sunsets from large second-story sun deck (accessed via exterior stairs at back of house) with seating/dining table. Living room plus separate family room with dining area. Well-equipped kitchen. Bathroom has shower (no tub) plus a fully-enclosed outdoor shower at back of house to enjoy with hot/cold water.

This traditional but updated Cape Cod beach cottage is steps to the warm, safe waters of Nantucket Sound on the south side of the beautiful, unspoiled town of Chatham on the elbow of Cape Cod. Ridgevale Beach is Chatham's most popular warm-water family beach. It's a long, wide sandy beach with tidal inlets perfect for exploring. Safe, gradual sloping sandy bottom ocean swimming with small waves.

Lots of activities at your doorstep: fish, swim, build sand castles, windsurf, sail, canoe. You can get food, equipment and boat rentals at the Ridgevale Beach Snack Bar - just two minutes walk from the cottage. And just a five-minute drive to all that downtown Chatham has to offer.

Great location!

The location of this property is what makes it worth the cost. A very short and beautiful walk to a lovely beach was the highlight for us! The house is roomy and was exactly what we needed for our trip. Our only disappointment was the bathroom which should be updated or at the very least replace the rusty shower head for a new one and wash the window. Otherwise a great location in a nice neighborhood in Chatham.

Location, Location

You can’t beat the location to the beach. The neighbors are so friendly and we went running to the rail trail everyday. All appliances are working very well. Although it’s a small bathroom having the outdoor shower helps. Damien was a great host and provided lots of extras (coffee, paper towel, napkins, soap, laundry supplies, dishwasher pods) to make the stay enjoyable.

3 week getaway

Couldn’t have asked for more. Beach views, 2 min walk to private beach, great snack bar, lovely dog walking neighborhood, parking attendants all gave dogs treats or water. Close to town (and Uber available if you want cocktails) and rail trail. Love the Chatham farmers market 2 mins away. Friendly neighborhood. Owner very responsive although we lacked for nothing. Will definitely be back.

We had a great experience. The owner of the house was very friendly, responsive and helpful. The house was very clean and in a great location, one block from the beach. The house was perfect for a family beach vacation. We have three girls, ages 7, 10 and 13. They slept in one room with a bunk bed and a twin bed. My wife and I slept in the second bedroom with a queen bed. The house is not fancy, but it was clean and comfortable and just right for a family beach vacation. I would definitely stay here again.

Location Location - The view does not disappoint!

Best part is the location of this house. Less than 5 minutes walk to the beach! Nice roof deck and the house is mostly clean. Full size washer / dryer! Thanks for the coffee and the teas. There were also a bit of basic supplies including dish, hand, dishwasher and washing machine soap, an extra roll of TP and Paper Towels. However the house is in need of repair, most of the window screens have holes or patches. The front door screen kept popping out and the back do not have screen doors so they cannot be left open for extra air. Several of the doors don't close well and the toilet wobbles. Use the outdoor shower - it's lovely and the indoor shower is in rough shape. We had a great weather week so we were barely in the house except to sleep. It was worth the trip.

We were pleased with property it was what we had expected. Could of used a few more towel racks or hooks in bathroom and hangers in the closets. Damian was available to us if needed and checked in to make sure everything was okay.

Great location

We had a wonderful time at this little house. The location is great. Short walk to a very nice quiet beach. Convenient location near shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed the roof deck for dinner and coffee in the morning. We will recommend this house to family and friends.

My wife, young kids and a wonderful time at this property. It was as depicted in the pictures, very close to the beach and had everything that we needed for a great week long vacation. The owner was welcoming and communicative over the phone as well.

Great little house close to beach!

This simple house was perfect for my family of five, with our dog. The roof deck was great for meals and star watching, and it's just a quick stroll to beautiful Ridgevale beach. The two main living areas are nice and bright, and the AC was great on the one occasion it got hot enough to need it. Outdoor shower was great. Kitchen is small but functional, as are the bedrooms. Everything was clean. Not a fancy house at all, but just what we wanted, and the owner is a really nice guy who helped us immediately when we asked for the hot water in the outdoor shower to be turned back on (a previous renter had shut it off). All in all a great experience, and we hope to return!

Area and beach were wonderful We loved the path and bridge to the peaceful beach. The house was adequate, clean. But needs some upkeep.The back door didn’t lock or close, the wind blew it open and our dog almost got out, could be a real problem if you had children.The deck was up by the roof line was really nice. We watched the full moon rise it was beautiful. There was a table and plastic chairs around it the chairs were cracked and ready to fall apart. We did like the outdoor shower . ( there is one inside but we thought it was fun showering outside).we didn’t cook , we had coldcuts for lunch and went out for great dinners. I would go back to the area but different house.

Perfect Location-Clean Cozy Cottage-Great Area!!!

Stayed In different area in Cape Cod and this cottage is in a perfect location as far as beach and accessibility to town/shopping/ and neighborhood. It is a very short walk to a very quiet/quaint and clean beach. You have views from the front and unobstructed from the huge porch. The cottage was clean and cozy. Nice kitchen and sunny family room. The neighborhood is upscale. Nice houses surrounds this cottage. You are minutes from Chatham town as well as a new shopping area on 137. The other beaches on Atlantic is 10 minutes away. Up from the house on Main street is a great bakery with the best muffins. We really enjoyed the cottage and ambiance of it all. Will definitely be back. Location-Location-Location
