Welcome to our recently remodeled bungalow directly across from Manito Park's Enchanting Japanese Garden. This Parkside location can't be beat! Just a 5 minute drive downtown to see the river, waterfall, and sample the best of Spokane's restaurants and bars. Our cozy 2 bed 1 bath is equipped with a nest smart thermostat fiber optic Wi-Fi and smart TV/ apple TV (no cable). Enjoy a home cooked meal in our renovated kitchen and relax with great views of the park. Our space is tastefully curated and perfect for visiting family or passing through on a business trip.

*Please note this is a quiet family neighborhood and we have a strict no parties/gathering policy for this home. Quiet hours are from 9pm-8am. No additional guests allowed unless preauthorized before your stay* This is NOT a party house, it's a place for PEACE and REST. You can utilize our driveway or park on the street.

Beautiful bungalow just steps from Nishinomiya Tsutakawa Japanese Garden in Manito Park. Home was nicely decorated and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Our host was receptive and adjusted our dates with little notice. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway location

We had the most wonderful time staying at the bungalow. Walking every morning and evening at the park was absolutely beautiful and refreshing. Janelle’s recommendations for dining were spot on and delicious. The location is perfect for exploring places to eat, shop and play because it’s close to everything. Overall, the bungalow is charming and a great place to stay.

The cottage was super cozy and had all the amenities we required. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen is nicely remodeled. My daughter had a 3 day volleyball tournament at the convention center 10 mins away. Will definitely stay again next time. Thank you!

great Manito Park location

We love the area around Manito Park - we were able to walk the park as well as many neighborhoods in the area. Easy access to I-90 for other excursions with family. The property was very clean, very cute, well stocked kitchen, good fit for us. The owners were very responsive and helpful, we appreciated that very much.

So much character in a great location

Great character in this bungalow. The beautiful, creaky wood floors just add to the character. We love that we were just steps to the entrance of Manitou Park. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio in the sunshine, for happy hour. Very comfortable.

Great location, perfect size

Wonderful experience staying in this sweet bungalow. The neighborhood is safe and beautiful and the Japanese Gardens are literally right across the street. My mom and daughter and I walked through the neighborhood and loved our relaxing afternoon. They were missing a few staples (or I just couldn't find them) like sugar and flour, but otherwise it was just right.

Wonderful house, wonderful Manito, wonderful Spokane!

This was the beginning of an epic road trip. A perfect place from which to fall in love with Spokane. Right across the street from Manito Park, near downtown, Perry District, etc. The house itself had everything we needed, was beautifully adorned with original art, the neighborhood was quiet. We were here for three nights and felt right at home!

Excellent Location…Exceptional in Detail

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in this cottage. The home is well thought out and every small detail is provided for. It is in a quite residential neighborhood that is quite beautiful. With a park that is steps away from your front door, it makes for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. However, downtown is a short drive away should you crave more adventure. Owners were responsive and very easy to work with.

Great location. Close to everything. Cross the street to the Japanese Gardens, Lilac and Rose Gardens. Minutes away from the Sookane Arena, great food and coffee shops. Check-in/check-out was easy. There were many box elder bugs in the house, but I’m told this is the season they come out. Very comfortable beds. Thank you for letting us stay at your property! JT

Great location, very clean, we didn't realize there were extra towels in the laundry room, so we ran low on towels. We should have looked harder. Pillows were very hard, but they had extra smaller pillows in a basket in the living room.

Charming

This is a wonderful rental. We stayed three weeks and had everything we needed. The location is perfect. Right across the street from the Japanese Garden in Manito Park. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We were also able to use the bbq since we were lucky enough to have beautiful fall weather. The house was very clean. Nicely decorated without a lot of extraneous decor. The hosts were extremely responsive and a delight to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this delightful rental!

Great location!

This was a cute house in a great location across the street from Manito park. The park is absolutely beautiful...we had a lovely walk every morning. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was great and had everything we needed. We checked in late as we were traveling all day, and when we got there the code didn't work, but the property manager responded immediately, gave us the new code and we got right in. Also checked in with us later to make sure everything was ok. And answered our question right away. We had a great visit to Spokane and would definitely stay here again!!

Our lovely time at Parkside Bungalow

The Parkside is just the loveliest, sweet vintage home! The location is great for the South side and close to downtown Spokane, with the lovely Manito Park right across the street! The home inside is beautifully clean, well decorated and equipped with everything a person would need for their stay there! We loved it and throughly enjoyed our stay there and hope to stay there again!

It's in the details

The house was immaculate and very convenient for our needs. Just a few details made it shy of the 5-star mark: no hand towels in the bathroom or towel racks; kitchen was lacking some basics such as measuring cups, cheese grater and mixing/serving utensils; and the living room could use an extra chair or at least a small sectional. The outdoor area was inaccessible from the house and unshaded. If you are one person in town for a visit or on business, it will work well. For a family of three it might not be the best choice.
