We enjoyed our stay at this property! The three bedrooms provided plenty of space, and the home was clean and well-maintained. The back patio was a highlight—we loved relaxing there each night and playing cards. It was wonderful that the property was dog-friendly, making it perfect for our family. The pool wasn’t working during our visit (not pumping or heating), but the owner was responsive and kept us informed. A friendly neighbor even tried to assist twice, but since it was a holiday weekend, repairs weren’t possible. While the closest beaches were closed due to a hurricane, we had a great time exploring Venice Beach and its dog park—both were fantastic alternatives. The early check-in option was much appreciated, and overall, we had a good experience. This home is a great choice for families looking for a comfortable and pet-friendly getaway!
The home was located in a convenient area close to all, very comfortable and inviting ! Totally enjoyed myself relaxing by the pool and it had all the comforts of home. Would absolutely recommend this property and the owners were wonderful and communicated whenever needed !
The property was very nice and my family had a great time. The only thing I did not appreciate is the neighbor barging in when the family from town was leaving in the evening around 9 p.m. It was uncalled for and rude. Friday and Saturday she kept popping her head in the fence almost to the point that it felt like harassment.
House was clean and no issues with checking in. Pool was beautiful. Beds weren’t very comfortable would recommend getting newer updated beds. Needed more linens like more towels, extra bedding when it’s colder. Otherwise great stay would recommend others to stay at this house.

This place is tired and needs A LOT of work
The trash had not removed by the previous guest, you asked us to do that for you (we shouldn’t have to clean up after other guests). we let you know there were only a few towels and that they were pool towels. You said you could bring some by (why wouldn’t you just do the trash yourself). You VERY KINDLY brought towels by, in the meantime I did laundry and found all the towels in the dryer. (We shouldn’t have to fold and put away your linens). you sent us a note asking about something with the pool skimmer and could we add water (we aren’t your pool people and shouldn’t have to manage your pool. there are dead flowers on the kitchen table (they were here when we got here, they are still dead on the table) your can open does not work (not even a little) 6) the pavers leaving the pool area by the gate are loose and a trip hazard and a few are cracked 7) your sofa in the TV room needs to be replaced mostly because its incredibly uncomfortable, also, it’s sitting on 4x4 planks of woods, and super low 8) the pots and pans are filthy but you have no dish soap or scouring pads to clean them with. the utensils (blue) to cook with are broke, and the handle don’t stay attached to the silicone piece 10) the kitchen table has a chair that is broke, the stretcher into the leg came out. of the leg itself. we went to cook on the grill, we cleaned it (because again it was filthy) and there was no propane.

Not what we were expecting
We gathered in Florida as a family from around the United States. We were so excited to finally be together. Our home away from home was not at all what we expected. I am not sure who wrote the reviews or if they stayed at the same place we did. Here is what we experienced:
- Carpet area smelled terribly of urine
- No extra blankets
- Dirty; dog hair all over the patio, dust and dirt on furniture and appliances. And the dishes! They were put back dirty, grimy and greasy.
- Poor kitchen resources. No cookie sheets or any oven bake ware. Also cooking utensils were limited.
- Broken futon. (Our son fixed it). This was supposed to be the additional bed for two people. It barely fit one.
- We had an unannounced maintenance visitor. He supposedly went to the wrong place. However he told me he didn’t know the owner had additional rentals. He was new and hadn’t been to any other place. I think it was an intentional drop on to spy on us. This made me uncomfortable because we had young adult females that were a bit scared. They didn’t think he was legit and they thought he might come back. The owner did verify the legitimacy of the man. and finally, neighborhood did not make us feel safe. All of these disappointments would have been acceptable at a more reasonable price.
We are a family of 8 with 4 adults and 2 teenagers and 2 8 year olds. House was clean and cozy! Love the layout and all the space! Beds were very comfortable and loved the big jacuzzi tub in the master bath. The kids really enjoyed the pool and fishing. They caught about 15+ fish including a bass! The yard is beautifully landscaped. They especially loved the sliding window from the kitchen to the lanai so I could hand them snack or drinks while they were wet without trampling through the house. The location was great! Close to grocery stores and food and fun! We spent an afternoon at Englewood beach only about 22 miles! We ate at The Philadelphian and Delicious Italian Food both amazing! The boys really loved Armageddon right down the road they said it was the best laser tag place they had been to! Easy check in and out! Thank you Phil for sharing you home!
We had a great stay and will def rent this vacation home again. Ran into a few problems at first that was out of the owners control but he was very accommodating.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at your place. It was beautiful, had everything we needed. Very spacious. Location was great, about 30-40 minutes to several beaches. Loved looking out the kitchen window to the lanai, pool and the canal. Would definitely come back!!
It's exactly what you see in the pictures, and everything is all set up. You get an email for the combination lock so you just show up, punch in your code, and you're home away from home! Beats staying at a hotel in every way, and we were 5 minutes from everything!
Very spacious plenty of supplies towels and more. Kitchen had erything needed and then some. Screened in patio was awsome. Enjoyed the pool . Would definitely stay again.
