The interior has been updated with all new furnishings, decor, paint, and a gorgeous new kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The open floor plan has a dining and living room with fireplace all overlooking the water. The lower level provides additional living space including a den and ping pong room. The spacious yard rolls down to the lake where one can access the water for swimming, or use the kayaks, paddle boards, and more. A serene, private location to enjoy Montauk.

** there is an additional bonus rec room downstairs with a West Elm twin size daybed with trundle (sleeps 2).

Incredible house - couldn't have been better!

The house was absolutely incredible - most notably the view of the lake!Our group of friends was searching for the perfect place to spend the holiday and this house exceeded expectations! We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen/grill were perfectly set up to do just that! We will most definitely be returning next year to rent again. Michelle, the property owner/manager was incredible and communicated effectively and in a timely manner!

Unfortunately, our experience at the property fell far below expectations due to serious issues that made the entire lower level essentially unusable.While the owners did respond to messages, every interaction we had was met with rudeness, dismissiveness, and a combative tone. Instead of addressing concerns, they downplayed or brushed them off, blaming the age of the home or its proximity to water. They also misrepresented our interaction to VRBO, claiming we had more guests than booked (when there were exactly 10 guests as stated) and that “every guest” told them everything was fine — when only three people ever spoke to them.The most significant issues we encountered, with photo proof provided below, included:•Mold or water damage on the ceiling of the downstairs bathroom and on downstairs tile•Musty, moldy smell throughout the lower level•Damp mattresses in the downstairs bunk area•Triple bunk bed too small for even children, despite being advertised for three guests•Toilet spraying water, requiring makeshift fixes (fixed by host upon request but •Mold or build-up under the upstairs vent•Garbage disposal not functioning•Lights flickering in bedroom near the kitchen•Lights flickering in downstairs common area without being touched•Screens falling off sliding glass doors and windows•Toilet paper holder detached from wall•Animal feces throughout backyard (understandable due to roaming animals, but still a notable condition)
