Exceptional, main-door first-floor Georgian Apartment modernised and located right at the top of Edinburgh's Royal Mile, less than 2 minutes walk from Edinburgh Castle! Guests will love being so close to the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh's main tourist spot. This property has a 5 star rating on many booking platforms.
You will not find self-catering accommodation closer to Edinburgh Castle with the nearby restaurants, bars and shops of Edinburgh's Royal Mile at the bottom of the stairs!
The apartment is entered via a main door on to the Lawnmarket at the top of The Royal Mile which takes you into a private staircase up to the first floor. This apartment really is in the heart of Edinburgh's tourist district.
It comprises modern kitchen/living room, bathroom with shower, additional shower room and separate WC. There are 4 bedrooms and the apartment comfortably sleeps 8 with space for an additional person on a fold down double sofa bed in one of the bedrooms. Sleeping arrangements as follows;

We also have a luggage/wardrobe room so you can keep the bedrooms nice and clear. The open plan living room/kitchen offers a sociable space with views onto the Royal Mile, below.

Everything about our stay was amazing! The location can’t be beat. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. We will definitely recommend and stay here again!
We loved staying here. It is in a really great location with shops all around and only a couple minute walk to popular attractions in all directions. Only issues were the beautiful church in front was under construction (nothing the owners can do about that) and I wouldn’t call the second bathroom a half bath more like a toilet closet.
Very easy communication, great location for everything. The only surprise was there were no toiletries provided like soap, shampoo and conditioner for the showers . Very minor inconvenience but US travelers should be aware .
Location location location. If you are looking to stay in the heart of Edinburgh this is the place. You are a staircase away from the Royal mile, and steps away from Edinburgh Castle, Victoria street and a list of other sites. Too many witching walking distance to list. The flat was very cozy and well furnished. The only thing that wasn’t provided were wash clothes. We had six adults in our group and we were all very comfortable and happy with the accommodations. Keep in mind this isn’t a five star hotel but for a large group that rents houses frequently we would definitely recommend.
