Located in the heart of downtown historic New Bern, this charming apartment has 2 bedrooms 2 full baths. With one king, one queen, a pull out couch and blow up mattress, there’s plenty of space for everyone. The space is dog friendly, so the whole family can stay. The kitchen contains all the basics, and there is a washer and dryer available for use. The walk in shower and working elevator create a fully accessible space for handicapped individuals.

The apartment is located next door to the birthplace of Pepsi, where you can enjoy an ice cold Pepsi while touring the small museum. High quality bars and restaurants line the streets, as well as small stores with unique gifts and souvenirs. Down the road, you can learn all about New Bern’s history in Tryon Palace and Union Park. Come explore this historic town and enjoy the adventures it brings! We do not currently have a designated parking space for the property yet. We are working on this issue however, there is street and lot parking available in town that is less than a block away.

This rental was ideal for our family. The kitchen is well-stocked, the spaces are very clean, modernized and comfortable. The showers were great and the beds were comfortable. We utilized the sleeper sofa, which was as comfortable as one can be. The living room is spacious and the downtown location was convenient and close to everything. We would definitely choose to stay here again .

The pictures don't do it justice!!! The place is way larger than it looks!! It's lovely on the i side, with a great kitchen. It's centrally located in downtown New Bern, so it's within walking distance to all the cute shops. Great restaurants and all the town has to offer. This visit was for .y son's wedding. My friends that stayed with me are hoping to have a reunion and stay here again!!

Everything was good but should provide extra towels. The bed in the 2nd bedroom is to high my brother in law fell out of the bed and hurt his knee. Might consider lowering that bed. Don’t want anyone else to get hurt. Other than that it was a great place.

A nice weekend in New Bern

The property is very nice and spacious. It’s very clean with comfortable furniture and an updated kitchen. The property is in a great location for walking to shopping and restaurants. If we ever need to come back to New Bern, we would definitely stay here.

Parents and 2 adult daughters stayed for 3 nights. Such a nicely appointed kitchen as well as other amenities. Easy to walk around New Bern. Parking was not an issue at all. Would definitely recommend!!

The Loft was a perfect place to stay. Kimberly was the ideal host…she went out of her way to accommodate special needs and requests. The unit itself was done to perfection. There is a fine line to manage a renovation that adds all the modern conveniences but yet respects the history of the building. This was very well done. The location was ideal. If you are not avid walkers it is so close to EVERYTHING. If you love to walk like we do it is easy to go any direction for a variety of experiences from the historic homes, Tryon Palace, the river walk, stroll the downtown area, etc. For a memorable visit to New Bern we highly recommend this, Thank You Kimberly!

Clean, open space. Lovely old hardwood floors. Very comfortable mattresses and furniture. Large and well-appointed kitchen. Walking distance to everything. No assigned parking had me worried, but there was plenty of available street parking right outside (free on weekends) so it was never a problem. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Loft in the Heart of Downtown

My husband and I booked this charming downtown loft for a staycation weekend. We live here in New Bern. This beautiful open loft puts you literally in the heart of downtown New Bern. You can walk to everything. Being that we were right on Middle Street I was surprised by the quietness of the loft. The unit was very clean. Check in was simple and easy. I didn’t need to contact the owner for anything. The place was stocked for what we needed and it was exactly as described and pictured. We would definitely stay here again.

We choose this neighborhood for the charm and rich history it has to offer. We also love being close by the water. The unique and amazing southern atmosphere New Bern has to offer is unlike anywhere else!

What makes this property unique

Our 100 year old property is located next door to the Birthplace of Pepsi and only a block away from the river on the Main Street of New Bern. Once you step out the front door you have unlimited restaurant and retail options to choose from. Including unique bar experiences that have been featured in many magazines. Historic Tryon palace is conveniently located 2 blocks away and with the many events New Bern has to offer you will never be bored!
