Very cool cabin in the woods that captures the culture of the San Lorenzo Valley. My kids were able to trek down the road to a Lake in the Woods community playground and shoot hoops during the little down time we had from so many epic sights to adventure.

Beautiful area and a cozy place for five or six people to stay. Took a second to find the place, as it is at the end of the road. Heater works well. Only issue we had was a stain on the comforter in the back bedroom. Would stay here again!

Stayed at Sean’s cabin for the weekend. Was conveniently located close to Santa Cruz but far enough away so that we felt like we were on 2 different trips. One in the redwoods, one at the beach.

The property was as described. A few things were confusing, such as where to find the washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the house while small, was well appointed.

The unit was in a lovely forested area in the mountains. Location was great and peaceful. It was well stocked with kitchen items for cooking if you don't want to go out. Beds were super comfy. We were surprised to find no ceiling in the bathroom that is very centrally located and a bit awkward with 6 people staying there. In addition directions could be more clear... we missed a turn and then spent a long time trying to find a place to turn around on the tiny surrounding roads. Lastly the unit needed to be cleaned more thoroughly and it could use some repairs.

Santa Cruz trip

This spot was amazing!! A little confusing when first showing up but after contacting the host we got there easy. Only thing to be ready for is that there are also 2 other homes on the property outside of this one. Its a great location other than that, we were only using it to sleep mostly.

Difficulty in locating property. Google maps is not accurate. There is more than one Fern Ave. Smell of house had moldy smell. Overall everyone slept well and felt like we had a cozy and safe place to stay.

The reviews about it being hard to find scared us, but it really wasn’t that hard. The listing said it was 3 minutes away from UCSC (we were visiting campus) but in reality it was around 25 minutes. Bathroom situation was definitely interesting… but overall had a great stay!
