Welcome to Islands Dawn! This beautiful two bedroom, two bath, first floor unit is just steps away from one of two gorgeous warmed pools. And the beach is steps across the street! Pool view from your private patio. Property is located directly across from the Gulf Of Mexico. Feel like going to the beach? Well, you can just simply walk across the street and you're feet are in the beautiful newly extended beach!This property is at a great location too! Just minutes from Galveston's Historic Pleasure Pier, shopping at The Strand Downtown, Schlitterbahn Water Park, Fishing Piers, Moody Gardens and fabulous restaurants! This condo is newly renovated and decorated with the simple and comfortable pleasures of vacation life. With the aminities of home. Parking is $50 per vehicle that guests pay directly to The Dawn upon arrival. This fee also includes pool bands. Pool bands MUST be worn while at the pool. Sorry no pets allowed. Book early! Our pricing is very competitive! Snow birds welcome. Ask about our discounts for longer stays too. 😀

Beautiful property, right by the pool on a lovely weekend in Galveston. We couldn’t have asked for anything better this weekend. We’ve stayed at The Dawn several times but this was our first time in this unit. We would absolutely stay again.

The pool and jot tub were nice and easy to get to from the condo. The beach was just across the street, although we did.miss not having a gulf view. The property manager responded promptly. The confo meeds to be cleaned much better, including the patio where i had to wipe down chairs and place towels over the cushions and needed to be swept. There's a broken table on the patio that's useless.

Home away from home

Had an amazing stay on our weekend get away. Place was stocked with essentials that we needed, location was great -walmart just around the corner, easy walk across to the beach. We Enjoyed every minute, definitely a must stay, would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Great stay at The Dawns

The Davis' would recommend this property to anyone wishing to spend a relaxing weekend in Galveston. The beach is right across the street and if you like a fresh water pool, its just steps away off of the patio! nicely decorated condo!

Nice place

Great spot just steps from the pool and parking. Spacious two bedroom with nice kitchen and den. It was really nice to have the extra towels and equipment for the beach!

Great condo for a wonderful Galveston vacation!

Excellent condo with everything you'll need to have a relaxing and fun Galveston vacation! Downstairs unit that is steps from the pool and the beach. Appreciated that the kitchen and bathrooms were well-stocked with often used items. Beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Home away from home

This is an excellent place. The gate on patio allowed easy access to pool. The kids really enjoyed the pool. This was our second time staying in this unit and reallly enjoyed our stay. This is the fith time we stayed here and this unit is the best

Galveston stay

Property was as described. Would be a good place to stay, nice central location to access beaches and shopping. Our only complaint was the furniture was extremely dirty and the apartment wasn’t clean when we showed up. If they fixed that it would be a great place.

Great!

This spot is excellent for access to the beach, which is directly across the street from the Condo . Back porch opens right to the pool! Very spacious with everything you need. Decorated for a beautiful beach getaway! Beds were very comfortable, and it was all perfect! We will definitely book this SAME Location in the near future! Thank you for the wonderful weekend!

Summer Vacation

We had a great stay. The property was easy to enter! The staff was friendly! The property was close to everything a( Moody gardens, restaurants, and golf & go carts. The kids enjoyed going to the pool daily, which is right outside the back door. Walking to the beach was the best! They were grateful for the beach toys. It was a prefect setup!

Very pleasant stay

We just finished our first day in Galveston and had a wonderful time. The condo is in an ideal location. You can just walk out the back gate and ride into the pool area and then across the street to the beach. The pool was really nice, very warm, and well-maintained. The conduit itself was well stocked and came with everything that we needed, including Extra toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap and laundry soap. The beds were very comfortable. All of us slept really well. The air conditioner was wonderful. Which is super important since it was flipping hot out there. The only complaint would be something that the owners could not have anything to do with and that is mosquitoes. They seem to linger around the pool area and our patio area. The sliding glass door was open even for a few minutes. They got inside and we did get bit. But there’s not much anyone can do about that. Mosquitoes are mosquitoes. Otherwise it was great and we took advantage of all the lovely restaurants and fun things to do in Galveston. We would definitely go back.

The condo was so cute and clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Galveston. The pool is literally in the backyard! The weather was gorgeous, but the pool water was a bit chilly this time of year so we didn’t use it as much as we would have otherwise. The condo was spacious yet cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this location.

Wonderful condo, we had everything we needed, even coffee! Very clean! But what set this place apart from others was the service- when we had a plumbing issue, the owner came by right away and fixed it! He could not have been more responsive, that’s really rare. We will definitely stay here again!!!

Galveston Condo

The condo was perfect. Bottom floor, access to the pool was so convenient. The property manager offered to get me ice since the ice maker was broken. I thought that was very thoughtful and kind. I would highly recommend this condo to everyone. I will stay again.

AC went out, hosts stopped responding

Our trip was going great, and we were really enjoying the place until a very light rainstorm somehow knocked out the power. The host responded in about 30 minutes and power was back on soon BUT the AC STOPPED WORKING the rest of our stay. When we messaged the hosts about the AC being out, they stopped replying to us!!! We were with our 2 kids under two years old, so this was a very frustrating situation and we were hot the rest of our stay. Nothing was done by the hosts to make this situation right, and they were very rude when I asked them to apologize for leaving us in the dust with no AC. I would not risk staying at a place where the AC isn’t functioning properly, especially with the location being in such a hot climate. The property is in a great location though. Maybe try another unit in this complex with different hosts. Very very very disappointed with how rude the hosts were, especially when their reviews were so high. Also, the freezer would randomly stop working and we’d have to reset the freezer by messing with the breaker. We couldn’t keep anything in there and we were stressed about our groceries when we were away exploring Galveston. Seriously guys, it’s not worth staying at a place where the hosts don’t seem to care about the units problems or the guests staying there.
