Beautiful View...and a short walk to Boardwalk!

Amazing location and views, this house captures the very essence of Santa Cruz. Walk to boardwalk, Seabright beach, the wharf, the yacht harbor, downtown Seabright and its variety of restaurants,......there are so many choices, you may choose not to drive during your entire stay.....And with our open floor plan, large windows, huge deck, and amazing views, you may choose not to even leave the house.

This house is perfect for a family retreat. The 35 foot long deck offers amazing views, a BBQ, and tables and chairs for outdoor dining. The dining room/great room has a large table with seating for 8 but can easily hold 10. A large supply of games and puzzles offers more family fun time around the table. Walk downstairs to a huge 'hangout' room that boasts a large flat screen TV with satellite and DVD. There is a love seat, easy chair, sofa/sleeper, and papazan chair for comfortable seating. There are also extra sleeping mats and bean bag chairs in the closets.

The master bedroom offers a queen bed, large flat screen with Dish TV and DVR, and a magnificent view. Bedroom 2 offers a queen bed, and bedroom 3 has a king bed and Dish TV. This house is ideally set up to be shared by two families. With 3 bedrooms and baths, each couple can have their own bedroom, while the kids can pull out the sofa sleeper, throw down some of the provided floor mats, and have a sleep-over in the family room.

For your enjoyment we also provide 2 beach cruisers, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, and an ice chest.

For added convenience and comfort we supply all towels and linens, toilet paper and paper towels.

Come fall in love with our house as so many others have done.

Great location especially if you want to visit the boardwalk. An actual 10 minute walk to get to the keddie section of Santa Cruz Boardwalk.

Our experience with this property exceeded my expectations. Everything was delivered as promised. The experience was exactly what my family and friends needed. If I come back to Santa Cruz in the near future, I’ll try to come back here.

Everything was exactly as advertised and more than comfortable for our family. Having a master bedroom on the entry level was perfect for our 94-year-old parents and the downstairs bedroom with the king size bed, living area and bathroom was perfect for my husband and I to relax later in the evening after the elderly parents went to bed. We could watch a little TV and comfort without feeling like we were disturbing anybody. Kitchen had everything that we needed so staying in and cooking was a pleasure. Communication with the host was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet. The parking was easy and the view out the back was beautiful. Also walking distance to see Bright Beach was only .3 miles so even our 94-year-old parents were able to walk there with there walkers. The walk to the boardwalk was also not far. All in all an excellent location that I would happily rent again if I was going to be in the area.

Property had everything needed for my family! Kitchen had everything needed and the BBQ was an added bonus. Everything you could need for the beach was avaliable. Perfect vacation rental for family.

Everything was perfect! Very clean, totally equipped with more than you can imagine, proximity to boardwalk was 5 minute walk! The house is just as the pictures portray! Would definitely stay here again!! The host was very communicative! We had a great 4 day stay!!

We liked that he place had bikes to ride and the downstairs space was so large. 2 of the 3 bathrooms had tubs and that’s always a plus for us!We didn’t cook so we can’t speak to that, but the kitchen had plenty of plates, glasses and cork screw!The walk to the beach was easy and short!

An unwashed towel hanging in the bathroom. The furniture is very old and outdated. Mattresses are very old and uncomfortable

I'm very sorry you were unhappy with our place. Definitely a dirty towel in the bathroom is not acceptable. The mattresses aren't really that old, but I do realize people have different preferences as far as mattresses. And I have been thinking that its time to update a few things. I appreciate your feedback

The view was fantastic. The home worked GREAT for the 6 of us, and even when we entertained an additional 6 people, there was plenty of room for everyone.

My husband and I have finally fulfilled our long term goal of moving to Santa Cruz and we could not be happier. We are enjoying walking along West Cliff Dr. everyday, gardening, taking art classes, the multitude of restaurants that this city offers and much more. After many years of craziness with kids and a husband who was in business for himself, this slower pace is a very welcome change.

My husband Rick and I bought this property because we knew that we would regret it for the rest of our lives if we didn't. The opportunity of a location this great within walking distance of so much, plus the bonus of a beautiful view was too much to pass up. In fact, I wasn't aware, but my husband had been eyeballing this side of this particular street for years. Our house is built over a ravine so the back yard has a panoramic view of open space, the San Lorenzo River, and the Boardwalk.

We enjoy walking to Boardwalk, the wharf, Seabright beach, the yacht harbor, Java Junction for coffee, Linda's Seabreeze cafe for breakfast, Betty's Burgers for any kind of burger you want, the Seabright Brewery for a beer, and the local museum in Seabright for a little bit of native history. We also enjoy bringing our bikes down to the path that runs along the San Lorenzo River and taking it into downtown Santa Cruz.
