Charming Westside Bungalow

We renovated this bright & airy space from top to bottom with a touch of rustic-modern. This Charming Bungalow located near Old Colorado City, the new hot spot destination of Colorado Springs that is close to just about everything you’d want to do. Browse through the photos and you’ll see why we are so proud of this space. We loaded the Bungalow with all the bells & whistles, sure to assist in making your stay memorable, relaxed and stress free.

Entering the home you will first notice the original hard wood flooring which covers most of the home. The charming living/dining combo offers a rustic-modern feel with plenty of room for small or larger families.

The large, bright kitchen has a nice pantry and loads of cabinet storage, butcher block counters, accent tile and all stainless steel appliances. The side door opens onto a nice deck, fenced in yard and grill (just look in the pantry for charcoal & lighter fluid).

The hallway leads to a HUGE, private master suite. Vaulted ceilings, private master bath with jetted tub and two walk-in closets. The master has a fireplace and a back door that leads to the side deck. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have TVs, DVD players and closets with extra linens. The 2nd bedroom provides a full size bed and the 3rd bedroom has bunk beds (twin over full).

Take a short drive to many of the main attractions in Colorado Springs such as Garden of the Gods, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Broadmoor Hotel, Manitou Springs, Red Rock Canyon Park, Pikes National Forest, Pikes Peak Summit with great views, Cave of the Winds, the Incline and lots more!

Nearest Commercial Airports: Colorado Springs Airport, 7770 Milton E Proby Pkwy, Colorado Springs, CO 80916 and the Denver International Airport, 8500 Peña Blvd, Denver, CO 80249.

Penrose and UC Health Memorial Hospital are both just right downtown with quick access from Hwy 24 and just about 10 minutes away.

Cute little house with great view

This house was very clean. It has a great view of the mountains from the front porch.The kitchen had lots of utensils and supplies. There were plenty of towels. Check in and out was easy. It is a nicely remodeled older home.

Home Away From Home

We LOVED our stay at this property! The house is beautiful and cozy and well stocked with anything we needed. The beds are SO comfortable that we slept in every day. Ha Ha. There is a jacuzzi bath in the master bedroom and a lovely claw-foot tub in the other. Perfect for any long, hot bath lovers. Both are showers as well. We did a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen is large and beautiful! We curled up for movies every night in the front room and it was cozy with the comfy couch and fun swing chair. We did not bring our dogs but...it is super pet friendly and even has a cute crate area in the master closet. I'll be honest...we were sad to leave on our last day because we loved the place so much. As great as the house was...so is the location! Garden of the Gods is a two-minute drive or a short walk. It's a fabulous place to go hike and explore with breath-taking views and incredible rock formations. We also went to Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (a 20 minute drive) and it was both of our favorite outing. It's a beautiful setting and you can get very close to the animals. The friendly staff is happy to tell you interesting facts. Truly an incredible place. Our last adventure was exploring the town of Manitou Springs (5 minute drive) with its fun shops and interesting restaurants. We had cafe au lait and beinets! Yum! Long story long...stay here. You will love it. Bring your dog!

Thought of everything!

This place was fully stocked. They’ve thought of everything all the way to decorating for Christmas and even having stuff to make s’more. Location was wonderful!

Holiday Getaway

This house was absolutely perfect for our family vacation between the holidays. It was in a great location, close to everything. Plenty of space for all 7 of us ranging from 2 yo to 69. Home was exactly as listed. Hosts responded quickly to messages even prior to the stay. The s’mores basket was a pleasant surprise, and we enjoyed every last piece of them. (So thank you!) If I had any recommendations for the hosts, it would be to put hinges and a lock on the little hatch in the floor of the master closet just for piece of mind. I didn’t notice it at first, but my 4 yo did, and she thought someone or something was going to come out of it. lol. But we problem solved by putting my heavy suitcase on it. Absolutely no complaints. 10/10 would recommend and would definitely book this house again.

Fantastic property!

This is a great place overall. Plenty of room for our family of four plus a pet. Check in was super easy, property manager easily accessible and quick to respond to any issues. A fairly close drive to most attractions in Co Springs and we'd stay here again if our travels brought us this way again.

Short Stay

Very short stay but everything was there that we needed. GPS made it a bit difficult to find and it was dark outside which didn't help. GPS kept trying to make us go down the alley behind the house which was bumpy and made of dirt.

Location, Location, Location

If you are visiting Manitou Springs & Colorado Springs you can't get a better location that this property. Just minutes to everything we wanted to do. We literally never drove more than 10 minutes to any of our activities. Second, this place is VERY pet friendly. Having the entire front yard and side yard fenced in was great for our dog. They also provided pet bowls, leashes and other pet friendly items. Photos on the listing are exactly what we got. Very nicely decorated, kitchen extremely well stocked and overall a great stay. Would definitely return.

Perfect!

Perfect place for our group of 4 adults and our dogs. Plenty of space to move around and privacy for everyone. Comfortable beds. The house is in an area with lots of traffic but we couldn’t hear it inside the house. Owners are great about quickly answering questions. 100% recommend

What an awesome House & Location

Very nicely decorated. Lots of bedroom space. Completly stocked with every item you could possibly need. Location is prime for Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs, Garden of the Gods & so much more. Nice fenced yard for the pets. I would absolutely stay here again but If not here I would look for properties managed by Eli Muhl & Michele Stark. They really took of of us. Thank you for such an awsome stay.

Summer vacation

Our family had a great visit to Colorado Spring and enjoyed the property very much! We were close to many sites, and the house was a perfect size to accommodate our needs as a family of 5. I would stay here again!

Great Colorado Springs Bungalow!

We really enjoyed our brief stay here! Our only regret is that we only had one night to spend here. Very charming, well appointed, modern, clean and comfortable. Of our four VRBO's on our family trip, this was our unanimous favorite (and the others were no slouches either). Location was phenomenal - close to everything we wanted to get to - and the neighborhood was very quiet. Can't wait to get back to Colorado Springs and stay here again!

Great Local Bungalow

We loved our stay. There were four different outdoor seating options where we could hang out and catch up. The indoor space was great. The master bedroom was beaufiul. The beds were a little noisy, but they worked. They did a nice job providing everything needed and instructions on things. The location worked great for us. It was super close to Old Town and Garden of the Gods and we were able to get everywhere in minutes. Parking was never an issue even though it was only street parking, from what we found. The bathrooms were great and it had a beautiful kitchen that we sadly made no use of. We really enjoyed our stay and would likely stay here again if we were back in the area.

Cool Colorado

This property was amazing. We loved the location, the outdoor area, the interiors. It was very cute inside. The owners provided everything you could need (toilet paper, shampoo & conditioner, coffee, etc.). We loved coming home there and relaxing after a busy day.

Loved it!

It was a wonderful place to stay. The house was inviting and clean. The outdoor spaces were great. We used the fire pit in front several times. Easy to access grocery store 3 blocks away, Starbucks is literally across the street. Great location and we parked right in front of the vrbo. Everything is exactly as described on vrbo! Eli was very responsive and had a ready list of eats and activities, which we used! Great get away!

Wonderful Time!

We had a wonderful time in Colorado Springs! The house was perfect and we loved the amenities and fun decor! The house is also perfectly located to all things Colorado Springs - minutes from Garden of the Gods, the Train depot for Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs, 7 Falls, downtown, Old Colorado City, all of it!

Great place to stay with your family

Pros- • Located near everything you need (stores, food, attractions, etc.) • Fully stocked house (cooking equipment, laundry facilities, pantry, linens/towels, etc.) • The views from the front porch are stunning • Jacuzzi tub in master bathroom • Water gets really hot • Fire pit area with firewood in front yard (perfect for the s'mores kit the hosts left for us) • Pet friendly property • Mostly original renovated home- very well done • Amazon Echo Dots throughout the house for music and entertainment • Very detailed and easy check-in process • There isn't an insanely long cleanup list like some vacation home rental properties have while still charging a cleaning fee. They only ask for the beds to be stripped and any towels that were used to be left on the beds with the linens. Makes you feel like going above and beyond since they don't ask for much upon checkout. Cons- • If visiting in the hotter months, the a/c doesn't really reach the master retreat. However, there is a portable a/c unit that you can set up in the room if you'd like • The main bathroom in the hallway has poor water pressure and is also a clawfoot tub, so the shower curtain wraps around the whole thing and can limit your space while taking a shower. And the shower head is rather low. • There is a two-story rear apartment attached to the house behind the master retreat (not directly over the master retreat, no access to the main house) and you can hear the residents footsteps thumping back and forth

Cute Bungalow with lots of xtras

We had a fabulous stay while visiting the Springs for daughter's graduation. The host was easily accessible and replied quickly. The bungalow was decorated impeccably with a "Farmhouse" vibe. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils/dishes/pans so we could cook one night. Even had spices and oils that others had left behind to make cooking easier. Bathroom was well stocked with extras (soap, qtips, shampoo, etc for guest use). Had TV with access to cable to catch some golf in the afternoon. we really enjoyed out stay and would love to stay again.

Perfect property with perfect location

House was amazing with all the amenities needed. We loved our stay. The property had a great view and great location. Lots of extras that are not usually provided. Even a beer in the fridge for each of us at checkin. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

Would definitely come back to stay

The house was great! It is very well maintained and clean. Extremely well stocked/supplied with items that one would expect to find in their own home, and then some! The only thing that could have made it better was earlier initiation of a check in process. Don't get me wrong, hosts were very responsive, but we didn't get the access code/details for check in until late afternoon. I didn't love the fact that we'd already made it to our destination before getting that information. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay. Our kids loved it, our dog would have loved it lol. It comes recommended from our family to yours.

Great for family

Beautiful home with modern updates which was perfect for our family's visit. Plenty of space for everyone and a nice master retreat at the back of the house away from the other bedrooms. Single level home however multiple stairs/steps from street to front door which makes it a little challenging for those with mobility issues or even carrying luggage. Overall great experience.

We are a blended family of 4 with 2 kids now getting ready for college. We love hiking, thrill seeking, traveling, all sports (especially tennis), trying new restaurants, camping, dog parks, movies, concerts, etc. We've been in the Springs since 94' and earlier so we have a lot of favorite spots and recommendations. My wife, Jen, speaks fluent Spanish & some Italian in case that’s of help. I only speak English. 

I have been flipping homes, custom renovations, building new and providing real estate brokerage services for about 15 years now. We have quite a few short & long term rental residential & commercial buildings in town with a great crew that keeps everything running smooth. Just let me know if you have any questions about where to eat, what to do, etc. and I'll be more than happy to help you out!

HOME IS STOCKED! We think you'll agree that we went above and beyond trying to think of everything our guests would need to make their stay comfortable, much of which you won't find at another place; not to mention no expense spared in decorating. Ha!

OUR STAFF: Since we have a full time maintenance, office and cleaning staff already in place managing our long term rentals, we also have the unique ability to assist you quickly with anything you might need to make your stay more enjoyable; as well as any emergencies repairs that may come up time to time.

WE WELCOME YOUR FURRY FRIENDS: Lastly, Colorado is a big dog & pet friendly state and we have 2 dogs ourselves that we are often limited in our accommodation choices; SO, we have decided to be pet friendly ourselves. We will call this unique! :)
