We continue using a “HypoCleanse HOCL all Natural’’ ELECTROSTATIC DISINFECTION process which has been “approved by the EPA’’. This is done before and after every guest.

You may choose to bring your own bedding, towels, disposable plates, cups and utensils, spices, etc. Anything to make your stay more comfortable. Please, NO sleeping bags.

There will be 1 roll of paper towels and 1 roll of bathroom tissue to start your stay.

Cleaned and sanitized bedding, towels, blankets and kitchen cloths are supplied.

Parking is first available on the street. You can parallel park in front of the garage.

There are NEW dual pane Windows/Blinds and interior/exterior paint and New Queen memory foam beds.

Welcome to your home away from home where your family or friends can spend a relaxing vacation.

We supply EVERYTHING to get your vacation started. Linens, towels, bedding and a moderate startup supply of paper products.

You supply FOOD & SPICES, CLOTHES, PERSONAL ITEMS, FIREWOOD and additional paper products for longer stays.

Arbor House Santa Cruz Beach Cottage Vacation Rental in Santa Cruz California, is a 2 Bedroom, 1 Bath private residence that can accommodate 2 to 4 Adult guests comfortably and a Family of 6 easily.

Rent for one weekend or a couple weeks throughout the year. We are just four houses away and 150 steps to Twin Lakes State Beach, Santa Cruz on the Monterey Bay Sanctuary.

Just steps away are Dining, Drinks, Boating and Entertainment on the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. There will be no reason to leave the neighborhood!

As you sit on the raised backyard deck of our Cottage, watch boats come and go from the Santa Cruz Yacht Harbor. In the distance you will hear the Sea Lions on the Santa Cruz Pier, and the adults and children laughing and screaming as they ride the Circa 1924 Giant Dipper on the famous 100 Year Old Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. A 7 minute drive or a 1.20 mile walk. There is also a 'Summer Season' water taxi that will glide you across the Yacht Harbor to get you on your walk to the Beach Boardwalk a bit faster. 11:00 to 6:00 pm summer weekends and holidays though Labor Day.

Take Kayaking excursions on the Bay or a Chardonnay II Tour, go Wine Tasting or take the Skunk Train into the Santa Cruz Mountains!

There are so many things to see and do in Santa Cruz, on the Monterey Bay and surrounding area that you'll want to re-book your next stay right away!

Location, location, location. Steps to the beach and a nice view from the deck of the harbor. The cottage is well appointed with pretty much most of what you need. The accommodations are cozy and the deck is wonderful for outdoor meals.

Our family had a wonderful long weekend stay here. So close to Twin Lakes State Beach, the harbor and nearby restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet and parking was easy. Checking in and out directions were clear and correspondence with the host was responsive and helpful.

This quaint, small cottage was perfect for a beach getaway trip. We loved how close it is to the beach, Java Junction and Crows Nest.

We once again enjoyed our stay at the Arbor House, our favorite place to stay in Santa Cruz for many summers. We especially liked the three separate sleeping areas, comfortable beds and couches, and the wonderful sunny deck overlooking the harbor and Seabright beach. Twin Lakes beach is just a block away, as are the BCycle rentals and Sup Shack. We'll be back!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The location is perfect for a relaxing beach and dining. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Would definitely book again!

The house is a very cute and comfortable bungalow; the pictures don’t do it justice. We were so close to the beach we could hear the waves and easily walk or bike to restaurants. We loved the area and hope to return soon!

Best stay! Family friendly, clean, everything you need. Host was excellent with communication and accommodating to our early arrival. Would definitely recommend this cozy cottage. 2 min walk to restaurants and beach made for minimal driving while also making breakfast and dinners on the deck. This stay was excellent for my 40th!

Hello, I’m Shirley, your host, and I would like to share a bit of the history of Arbor House Cottage. Arbor House was built in 1937 and has been in the family since 1958. My grandmother was the second owner. Though it wasn't called Arbor House then, it was simply a long term rental.

My grandparents lived across the street in the corner house and I remember going to visit them and playing there. Being with them was very special to me and my siblings. After they passed, I lived there with my Mother and Father until I married and started my own family and after my mother passed, the cottage came to me.

It is good to be able to go over from time to time, enjoy the beach and delicious restaurants and recall the wonderful memories!.....(note the picture on the wall in the dining room, it's not me but reminds me of myself as a child on the beach).....

Scott and I have put many long and loving hours into making Arbor House the warm and welcoming Cottage that it is today.

So, 'welcome'....This is your home for the short time you are here.
