Our Santorini cottage has sweeping views of the marsh and Folly River with peeks of the ocean just across the street. Fully remodeled and newly offered as a vacation rental, Santorini Cottage features a new gourmet kitchen, spacious ceramic tile bathrooms, two large covered porches facing ocean and marsh, a large outdoor shower overlooking the marsh, and three comfortable bedrooms each complete with smart televisions, luxury linens, dreamcloud matresses and ceiling fans.

Located on the quiet east end of the island, we are just a short walk to the Morris Island light house and directly across the street from the beach. Sunset views from the rear deck are some of the best anywhere on the island !! As this home is located directly next door to our primary residence, parties involving guests not already sleeping in the home are not allowed.

Amazing!

This was our sixth stay in Folly and by far our favorite. The house is amazing - well appointed, great furnishings and incredible views. It felt just like being at home. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. It was very clean, well stocked and comfortable. The gorgeous views and close proximity to the beach were fantastic. The owners were very friendly, extremely accommodating and were prompt to respond to any question. We plan to book again in the warmer months!

Winter Holiday getaway

We had a wonderful time in your beautiful home, the marsh views were spectacular, the kitchen was so well equipped making dinners in fun and easy, and the space was so cozy and comfortable for our family. The location was quiet and beautiful and long walks on the beach very accessible. We hope to be back!

Beautiful House and Property

I can't say anything negative about the house, property or location. It was all we were hoping for and more. The house is perfectly beach themed decorated, location is right across the street from the beach, the views off the back porch were stunning, especially the sunsets. We walked around the neighborhood quite a bit and this house had one of the best cared for properties in our area. The host Steven was more than accommodating and you can tell Steven and Michael take pride in this property! Don't hesitate to book this charm! Folly Beach was super laid back, great vibe, remined me of Key West days before Cruise Ships could dock there. Can't wait to come back!!

Seriously sublime Santorini cottage

We can't say enough about this charming Folly Beach house. The basics--extremely clean, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds with nice linens, a host that was hospitable and easy to communicate with. Beyond the basics--gorgeous views of the marsh from the back deck; wonderful, peaceful location close to beach access. The house is comfortable but also tasteful and well-decorated. We loved being there, had a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again.

Simply Wonderful!

We have rented many VRBO homes. This is right up there with the best! Layout worked perfectly for our two couples plus an extra bedroom. Incredible view of sunsets over the marsh out the back. Easy walk to the uncrowded beach. So many comfortable conversation spots in the house. Well done!

Beautiful Marsh View

We loved our stay, the house was beautiful and functional and the view of the marsh off the back porch was stunning! The house is very close to the beach access and at the end of the block is a park that leads to a lighthouse! The owners next door were super kind and we’d definitely stay here again!

This house is pure bliss - the location at the lighthouse end of the island where it’s quiet, the beautiful decor, the comfy dreamcloud bed, the exceptional stocked kitchen with a view of the river, the stunning sunsets on the back porch, and the hospitality of the owners. Everything they touch is gold.

Beautiful Views and Home

We really enjoyed our stay! You are located on nice quiet street within walking distance of washout beach. I loved being able to watch the sunrise as I walked along the beach. The sunsets were equally impressive sitting out on the back deck. The home was very welcoming and the beds were comfy! I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Wonderful home!

This home is exactly as pictured and better! Views are fantastic off back porch and you can hear the waves out front. Easy stroll to the beach. Comfortably furnished and well stocked kitchen! Can’t wait to come back.

Relaxing Time on Folly with Friends

We loved our stay here! The marsh views are stunning and the front and back porches are perfect for relaxing any time of day. The house is decorated to perfection and the large kitchen with the faboulous island for gathering around was great. This was our friends first stay on Folly and I think they might be hooked...

Wow factor rental!

This house has the wow factor. Inside is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen had everything you needed to make a meal. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms large. The best part is the view. The back deck has amazing views over the marsh with colorful sunsets. The front deck has small ocean views through the houses but the sea breezes make it a great place to spend time relaxing. The beach access is across the street and a few houses down in either direction. You couldn't have more attentive owners that take great pride in their property and great care of you while there. I would definitely book this place again.

A Perfect Staycation!

As a local Charlestonian looking for a beautiful, clean, well appointed, and convenient place for family and friends to enjoy a beach weekend together, the Santorini Cottage was absolutely perfect. All the fun of Folly, but far enough down the beach to feel like a tranquil escape! Check in was easy and communication with Steven and Michael was good. Our teenagers were probably too noisy, but it was a comfort for them to be able to surf, fish, walk to the lighthouse, and socialize from this very safe home base. Hoping to return for a longer stay this summer. Thank you for having us!

perfect for a quick getaway

the property was very nice inside and out. The owners have clearly put a lot of effort into transforming the interior - everything is new and lovely. The kitchen was fully stocked, the views off the back deck, over the marsh were great, and the beach across the street was convenient. We were sad to leave after such a short time, but we would love to return for our next trip to the area.

Charm and location

Property is just as pictured in photos; my family enjoyed the thoughtful design tpuches and amenities. Kitchen is well equipped for all you need and more. The location is fantastic if seeking quiet + a beautiful view with close beach access. Steven and Michael are warm and responsive hosts!

Perfect Beach Property!

We could not have asked for better accommodations. Everything is exactly as pictured, and the sunsets from the back deck are even better! The location was perfect with easy access to the beach across the street, and it seemed like we had the beach to ourselves! Steven was great to communicate with and made the check in/out process very easy. This will be our go to property when visiting Folly Beach!

Perfect!

Our family absolutely loved staying at the Santorini Cottage! We met Steven upon arrival and he made us feel right at home. The sunset view was outstanding and the house is well-appointed. We wanted for nothing except more time. My family and I make this trip annually and I think we found our ‘home’ each year!

Comfortable and Cozy for our little family

We are a family of 5. 2 grandparents, 2 parents, and a 4-year-old. We stayed for 3 nights for a larger group family holiday gathering in Folly. Santorini Cottage is beautifully decorated, yet very casual. It was so very comfortable for our family. The furniture selection and arrangement in the large living space allows for multiple activities. The kitchen is so well laid out and well-appointed. Very easy for 2 or 3 or 4 to work simultaneously in the kitchen. Bedrooms and mattresses are exceptionally comfortable. Easy access to the beach across the street, and beautiful view of the marsh. We liked being on the far quiet end of the island — still less than 10-minute drive to center island. We loved our few days in this lovely home and would enjoy coming back in warmer weather so that we can sit on the great porches. Steven and Michael are excellent and responsive hosts. Highly recommend Santorini Cottage!

I am born and raised in Charleston and Michael and I moved to Folly several years ago. Our primary home is located near the end of East Ashley Avenue. Our other Folly rentals include The Daffodil Cottages Compound (Big Daffodil 3br/2bth, Daffodil Wee 1br/1bth and Daffodil Little 1br/1bth) and a cottage in the east end know as Marshmellow 2br/2bth. In downtown Charleston, we have 3 apartments located near our restaurant Stella's, that are available for 30 day furnished rentals as well! If any questions at all about any of these other properties or the area, do not hesitate to reach out. We love Charleston and our island and are always excited to share!
